I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure Trump has the best legal minds on the planet advising him. Trust his decision.

TX is the only plaintiff... the rest are just saying they have common interest in the Case/outcome

I'll be honest, if I was the president, I wouldn't come here for legal counsel. While we are great at some things on this site, being a collective legal advisor isn't one of those.

I'll trust that the top lawyers in the Country know what they are doing.

Sekulow said the President being on the case won’t hurt the case. SCOTUS is mainly concerned with state v. state for standing. I trust Sekulow more than just about any attorney

Yea I’m sure Trump doesn’t know what he’s doing 🙄

She doesn't have to recuse. Did Obama appointed judges recuse during Obamacare cases?

Why would ACB recuse? Trump has appointed 3 SC justices, yet you're only worried about her? Seems to me you are just trolling

I tend to agree.

Fuck off know it all. For one thing Trump diversifies the standing issues. For another it gives the President an opportunity to directly have all the fraud, irregularities and illegalities in all four of those states directly in front of the US Supreme Court.

There’s no reason for ACB to recuse. Even if in the unlikely event she did she could recuse as to Trump only not the states.

The last thing our President needs is legal advice from the peanut gallery, and that includes me.

Didn’t GEOTUS declare for constitutional purposes that he accepts the electoral votes of the states that Texas filed suit against in the days following the election? I seem to remember him tweeting that out. Maybe that’s why he joined?

There is no reason for her to recuse herself. If she needed to recuse herself then the other trump appointees would to and then dont stop there. The 2 from Obama need to recuse themselves too

I think the guy he has representing him, is the lawyer who put Parent in her place during the hearing, when she asked if he was on the Bar in Georgia. Could be mistaken, I will have to look into it.

It's not like Trump will be there personally to fight this, its just a lawyer arguing in his name. If I remember correctly, he is a Constitutional Judge, which is exactly what Texas is suing over.... so this can only help.
