"More than Union Commies," says the guy whose respected south made an economy out of specifically forcing an entire population to live in communes on their land, wherein they all worked as hard as they could, "shared" everything (through the generous oversight of Comrade Massa!) and were all given the same equal outcome.

The Confederacy was Small Scale Local Communism, nothing more. The only difference is that the Black Population never quite reached the point where they had open revolt.

Because the south decided to fire on Federal Soldiers, and then blame them... for getting shot at...
