I think that most of these legal proceedings are a test to see who is corrupt, and who is not. We have seen that most politicians (D and R) are corrupt. We have seen that most judges are also corrupt.

The final test is the SCOTUS, now underway.

I think that President Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act no matter what happens because of the need to clean up all the corruption. The civilian courts can't be trusted to clean up this mess (especially since many of them are corrupt themselves), so the military tribunals will have to be used instead.
