Rudy and Jenna also went directly to the state legislatures, ostentatiously to get them to hold special sessions to select new electors.

But it now seems that they were laying the groundwork for when the Supreme Court throws it back to them.

They planted the seeds: reminded the legislatures of their duties, educated them about the Constitution, and most importantly presented them with direct evidence of all the fraud that took place. If/when it does get thrown back to the legislatures to figure out their electors, the legislatures will have facts to support their decisions, plus, that sound feeling of security being backed by SCOTUS to, y'know, actually do their jobs.

I like the overall plan, it lets everyone chicken out and Trump still wins. TX's filing specifically says it doesn't want SCOTUS to pick the winner, which they fear being accused of, but just send the decision back to the legislatures. The legislatures then get the pick Trump's electors because "SCOTUS told us to". It's sad that you have to give everyone the coward's way out, but it works.

Well it's a nice and coordinated. Because even after SCOTUS rules fraud will tell the legislatures they are in charge of their election. Therefore at the end of the day it's the legislatures that still need to send their own electors. So by Rudy running around showing evidence and having hearings will be crucial in the future.

Wictor said this day one. All the cases, even the fake news (1-49 or whatever made up number they got to) were all sleight of hand

I agree. Always watch what appears to be the inactive hand of a magician.

I mostly agree, but the theatrics of a Kracken kind of point to them channeling all the attention.

Powell and Rudy, love em, but were not and are not the right lawyers to try these types of actions. They have made so many unforced errors.... but, and maybe by design, they are incredible sales people.

3
leatherbottom 3 points ago +4 / -1

What errors are you referencing?

KRM944 2 points ago +2 / -0

Powell’s case in one state (Michigan?) had all the data/facts from a totally different state (Wisconsin?) It was one of the first cases that they had knocked down.

ViduusMAGA 1 point ago +1 / -0

It was Ramslends (sp?) affidavit. Minnesota townships in Michigan affidavit. The mixup was the "MI" state abbreviation. I've been complaining about that one from day one. Not sure if it got corrected before the filing. What was presented live had the correct Michigan townships

Trump always gives himself many ways to win and no way to lose.

I disagree with OP. Their are multiple plans in action. Sydney's work is a longer term task that is vital. Giuliani is vital to keep Trump supporters with Trump.

They’re pressing the legislatures, which sets us up for a checkmate if SCOTUS forces them to choose electors.

3
KRM944 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’ll bet that SCOTUS decision is for the states to choose the electors- it’s exactly what the constitution says.

4
MakeAmericaLegendary 4 points ago +4 / -0

Personally, I imagine they’ll throw it to the House because that’s the constitutional remedy for a contested election, but either is constitutionally valid and a way for us to win.

Yep- we are saying the same thing!

2

Gotcha, sorry. I thought you were talking about the legislatures.

I am usually not a 4D Chess guy, but I have suspected this.

SCOTUS will not want to appear political or having decided who the POTUS is, so how do you separate the politics from an inherently political issue? You divide them, put one out as a "lightening rod" for the public to see, and then you bring another, the TX case, strictly on black letter law in a case that can technically be decided favorably without entering a single piece of fraud evidence whatsoever.

How'd that Texas case go?

skiduzzlebutt 7 points ago +8 / -1

I’m starting to believe this has been an elaborate irl Apprentice season to see who gets to be the next AG. It almost seems like Lin, Rudy, and Sidney are competing who can do better.

Lamech_Slade 4 points ago +4 / -0

Add Paxton to that list

2
LiskaEman 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm pretty sure TX is gonna wanna keep their AG for a while :D But he's definitely in the running I bet.

They also broadcast immense fuckery to the public so that they know about how bad we've all been scammed. It revealed the huge bias against the facts from media, big tech, and politicians to those who somehow hadn't picked up on that already. They demonstrated if state legislatures actually cared about their constituents or are taking orders from communists. They showed a plethora of statistical analyses that show what is reported to have happened in the election as impossible. They showed off sworn witnesses to fuckery and disparate treatment. They showed the world that a drastic response is necessary to an attempted coup on the United States and that those who treat this as legitimate are dirty too. If this hadn't been done the world would be completely unaware of what happened

I think it was more or less about red pilling people for the sake of bringing these subjects to light and exposing the corruption in order to set the stage and create doubt in the minds of the Left. I'm sure they, especially Sidney, didn't plan to lose in the courts, but she knew it wasn't the end all, be all.

What's amazing to me is that Trump does this kind of thing over and over again to royally fuck the Dems, but they keep falling for it without fail.

They're much more than that. They've brought a mountain of evidence to light. Now, with Trump intervening in the SCOTUS suit, that evidence will be presented to the highest court n the land.
