They Dont care, they get private capital from private companies and can hire private guns. They have the cashflow to be their own economy.

Yeah, but they won’t have the legitimacy or protection of being a US government agency. They can be treated like the terrorist organization they are

Exactly this. Take away all the perks, benefits, and protections of being a "government agency" and they just become a group of terrorists perpetuating nonsense globally. The sooner they're fully dissolved and all members are prevented from holding a government positions again the better.

The 2017 EO and state of emergency against human trafficking was targeted at the CIA. Apparently human trafficking is the most lucrative type of crime, even more so than drugs. The state of emergency gave the government the right to seize assets involved or related to the human trafficking as well.

That was a serious kick in the nuts right there...
