The thing that doesnt make sense to me is that it's the position of guys like Flynn for strategic balance in the middle east which is why Trump was so reluctant to attack Syria or Iran and why Israel was trying to sucker us into war with both of them. (Regardless of anyone's stance on Israel, its pretty obvious what they were doing and I think its objectively true) Most of these deals are just taking the backroom reality and making it official. I am disappointed we even used resources on this stuff when there is so much to worry about inside our borders. If they wanted to doubly commit resources then do it with Russia or NK.
Just dont see the benefit for us. Especially with Bibi leading the charge to congratulate Biden.
