I find that having some nice bass music playing at a low volume can help with certain disagreeable voices. I have the same issue with bad mics / high voices and I just turn on some instrumental power rock at about 10% volume and it mellow me right the heck out.
I don't like his whiny voice, but he seems alright otherwise.

You're not alone. I thoroughly enjoy his content, but his voice makes some segments unbearable.
