McCarthy was right. He was a patriot who was slandered and vilified in our history books due to the commies having control.

Those in power write history.......

I was born and raised in the USSR and when I moved to the USA it always baffled me why the ignorant would hate on McCarthy. Never could get a rational argument from them either, I only wish tech we have now existed back in the 1980s-90s so I could have documented the "deer in the headlights" looks of the dimwitted Gay Area liberals trying to convince me who bailed out of the USSR that communism wasn't bad and McCarthy was wrong, or some other absurdity of that sort.

One of the few things I learned in school was that McCarthy was evil.

Fuck public schools, they're worthless.

He was betrayed by the Uniparty. He did all he could and was censured by the Senate for daring to ask simple questions. It is an abomination what happened to him.

HAVE YOU NO SHAME SIR

Same bullshit emotional tactics they use today

I read his bio Blacklisted by History. The "have you no sense of decency?" Line came when he asked a question about a Commie lawyer who was outed by the very same person who asked the "no sense of decency" line. McCarthy simply followed up on the door that was opened. But we never hear that part.

They were just fishing for a soundbite to be repeated endlessly. And it was. On the news, in papers, and in our schoolbooks now.

The corrupt media goes waaaaaaaay back.

Best Senator ever from Wisconsin. I never ever saw him as a villain.

1
Paul_Revere 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, he was. His only failing was that he never understood the media; how to use it to advance his own cause, and how to defend himself when the left used it to smear and attack him.

And what did they teach us about him in school....that he was witch hunter and a crackpot.

We were indoctrinated by the communists to believe that the man who knew they existed was crazy.

People either need to stop smoking or smoke more. Being redpilled sucks sometimes but damnit its necessary.

Q: Anyone suggest a book on Sen McCarthy that treats him fairly?

You_Aint_Black 5 points ago +5 / -0

"Blacklisted by History" by investigative journalist M. Stanton Evans. Obliterates, and I mean completely obliterates, the mainstream narrative with cold, hard facts.

This. Great book.

My father always said joe McCarthy was right . It was so obvious even back then that he was right. The media has been working against the country for a very long time . They taught generations of Americans that this man was dangerously. He was a true American Patriot warning the country.

3
natas13 3 points ago +3 / -0

McCarthy was proven right by the Venona Papers and the release of all of the Soviet Archivesn proving every single one of the suspects on his lists to have been culpable. The man was and should be recognised as an American National Hero who tried to stop the degradation of the Republic and warn us of the Deep State infiltration long ago. JFK was also a staunch supporter and big McCarthyist - little known fact.

And Hollywood and MSM have been telling me my entire life what a crazy retard he is. Hindsight is a killer.

He was the first to run into the “Nothing to see here move along” crowd.

He's too afraid of the public opinion that was 100% far left.

Communism is like cancer, unless it can be removed 100%, there is a good chance it's coming back. Also, it can come back too. It should be each generations 'call to arms' but Communism was able to fester in our country for too long.

Call the surgeons, we need to remove it.

I've been watching the Hidden Agenda series on Amazon Prime, an old conspiray show ( pic of it https://imgur.com/oIgND8X ) It goes into details how the commies stopped him with shit groups like the ACLU. This really is a great series that exposes the commies and how they did it.

1
borscht-nazi 1 point ago +1 / -0

And they killed him.

1
SevenThunders 1 point ago +1 / -0

The Venona papers showed that he didn't go far enough. Media, intellectuals, professors, civil rights agitators, Hollywood, they were all rife with commies.

See... if old Joe would have shot the mutherfuckers instead of black balling them... the sky would be SO much prettier and roses would smell SO much better.

Correct! That understanding recently slapped me in the face. Communists have infiltrated our govt, media, and PUBLIC SCHOOLS - now we see if there's any way to save pur nation without bloodshed.

Joe McCarthy DID go too far, and just because we have a problem with foreign influence on our election right now does not change that embarrassing reality.

You_Aint_Black 1 point ago +1 / -0

Joe McCarthy DID go too far

lol the programming is deep in this one.

-5
populist_nationalist -5 points ago +1 / -6

No, he wasn't right at all. What McCarthy did is the same thing that the left did with the Russia hoax.

1
You_Aint_Black 1 point ago +1 / -0

You're right, "communist agents" acting subversively in the U.S. government is a WILD conspiracy theory with no substatiating evidence whatsoever.

2
Jaybone86 2 points ago +2 / -0

I want to see his rebuttal to your statement.

1
You_Aint_Black 1 point ago +1 / -0

It is perfectly legal to register to vote in this country as a communist if you want. McCarthy made false accusations just like Rachel Maddow.

I guess you could call that a "rebuttal" if you're so inclined.

Alger Hiss says hello. Harry Dexter White says hello. Mao says thank you to his fellow Communists in the State dept for cutting off aid to Chiang Kai Shek.

I’d say that’s on par with Maddow and Russia

Where does communism being legal enter into the picture if all he made were "false accusations"?
