Yes, Remington got broken up into 7 pieces and Ruger got Marlin. I think they are moving the Marlin product lines to existing Ruger facilities. I don't know if the manufacturing methods will change since Ruger has a particular fondness for casting.
Marlin was bought by Sturm & Ruger Co earlier in the year during the Remington Bankruptcy. Just closed the deal a few weeks ago. Ruger states new Marlins will be available mid 2021 - about the same time the new Remingtons will be available from Roundhill. From my inv Soros has no $ interest in Ruger, Roundhill or any of the other buyers of the Remington assets. The reason why its taking so long for the new guns is that each of these companies must file for a new US firearms cert as the old one under Remington cannot be grandfathered in.
