I don't hate you wearing a mask. If you want to wear a dirty diaper on your face, creating an environment right around your breathe holes that is ideal for the growth of bacteria and disease, have at it.
I HATE being told I have to do this, and I HATE being told I have to do so to protect other people. Fuck them, if they're so concerned and/or fragile they can stay the fuck home!
I ask people who say I'm obligated to protect them "Why don't you wear an N95 mask? Then you'll be protecting yourself and won't need my involvement." The most mask-happy people never seem to wear N95 masks and likely don't do simple preventive things like taking vitamins, etc. To them the mask wearing is like a ritual that, if everyone did it, would magically dispel the virus.
