I have a funny feeling that Hunter is being setup to be the fall guy in all this. I bet they're making deals with him on jail time he'll have to serve and all that jazz. Just admit it was all you and you didn't involve dad or the family, and when you get out of jail early for good behavior we'll reimburse you for time served. Do it for your family!

No jail time, just "mandatory" rehab while they blame everything on the poor dear's addiction problem.
Going to jail for drug crimes is for poor people. Rich, politically connected assholes are only ever the hapless victims of drugs.
Everything else, the political corruption, the bribes, the graft, the sexual misconduct, the literal spies and enemy agents... It's all just because of those darned drugs that poor little Hunter just couldn't help himself from taking.
Expect a flood of rehashed think pieces about how we should all be more "understanding" of addicts and how they need our "forgiveness", and anyone wo treats them with deserved scorn is an evil old meany without empathy.
