Is it better to send kids with masks to school, or keep them home online with no mask? Struggling with this. I want my kid to get the social development, but I don't want her wearing a mask 8 hours a day straight or being in some sad separated lunchroom.

My son is in private school and he wears face shield..no online school can beat the social component. Get kids face shield so your kid can at least make friends.
Do your kids have learning disabilities, behavioral problems, or are suffering greatly from online classes?
Behavioral issues as a result of being home all the time
Send them to school if you don't have anyone at-risk in you're household IMHO.
In-school learning is best. I'm sure you know that of course
I work in an elementary school.... starting to spread here pretty rapid now. Mostly the kids act as carriers though, teachers are catching it left and right, myself included
Let them wear the mask, kids won't understand the significance in a mask and will just happily play and make stuff up. Kids being kids. Let your kids be kids and let them be ignorant of the world.
