Can someone explain wtf is up with DC siding with the defendants and including 22 states? How do they even do that? All the states siding with Texas filed individually. Can DC just add whatever states they want? And how are Guam and the Virgin Island "states"? What the fuck is going on here?

Puerto Rico - who I expect to join in any minute now - costs the US $600M/year (spending-taxes).

PR, Guam, and VI don't get any electoral votes. They hold concurrent elections to "advise" the country what they should do, because they like to pretend they're states. They also keep voting not to be states, so fuck'em.

If I lived in one of those terrirories I wouldn't want to be a state. No federal income tax. No representation, no taxation!
