I'm not aware of a single foid card being issued this year. In Illinois you have to get a registration card before you can get a background check for a gun purchase, Illinois simply doesn't issue the cards that their constitution says must be issued within a month. They also require a $1 fee for electronic application, with no mail in or drop off option as alternatives, which is also illegal.
