Completely agree. There are even hardcore Trump lovers in the most liberal citiies like Toronto. It’s hard to be public about it though.

It means you can contribute (evidence?) to the case directly instead of just saying “I agree with Texas”. At least from my limited understanding.
Amicus is a measure of support. Intervening you become an additional plaintiff, a more definitive step, of course..

Third Party dropped by 46.8%
Total number of voters increased by 15.5%
The Third Party vote halved since 2016, despite more voters turning out. That's suspicious as fuck and we've seen the Third Party being bled of to Biden in other states.
Almost all libertarians switched to Biden in Colorado this year.
...and nobody questioned it.
Think about it... 150,000 libertarian voters throwing in Biden. That is the opposite of reality. I can buy the green party voters switching to Biden, since AOC is his science advisor... but Libertarians? Nope. Big fucking nope.

The Brnovich case is separate from Texas.
Brnovich v DNC is stating that the AZ laws shouldn't allow out-of-precinct votes to be counted (ie, those who come from another area to vote in what's technically the wrong polling place), nor should the law permit people to submit multiple ballots on behalf of another.
The AZ attorney general (Brnovich) did reference his own case when submitting an amicus brief for the Texas suit, though.
