Colorado is my home state for 6 generations. Im an Eagle Scout, a husband and father of two. Colorado has been overrun but all is not lost. Look at the county maps, They are a thin strip of pussies running along the front range. I watched it grow around me. Families who raised generations in Colo, sold family land to developers. But they couldn't get rid of ALL of us. It makes me so ANGRY when I think of what this has all become.
I hate the reality of this. Numerous states have been ruined by one or two liberal cities. Even within those cities, you have a lot of decent people just trying to live their lives but they're snuffed out by the liberal lunatics.
The beauty of the Constitution and state's rights is that states have the opportunity to experiment. Oregon effectively just legalized virtually all drugs. Fine. Lots of arguments can be made about that subject. What I will never understand is why people seem to think that everyone must live how one fringe location chooses to live. You want to do crack? Fine. Move to Portland. Want European healthcare? Move to Europe.
I wouldn't be so sure about the city-country divide. Friend of mine is out in the country in CO, has been out there for decades, is an independant, never votes down-ballot, always picks and choses. Hated Obama. But voted for Biden as "Trump is a liar and belongs in jail". Same with her local social circle. Also says a lot of rich yuppies are moving out there because of Covid. (And she's not even in Boulder).
If rich yuppies are moving near her than you don't understand what "out in the country in CO" means and she doesn't live out in the country. Also, there's always outliers, but I live in Colorado and the citry-country thing is a real factor
