Taxes don't make life better. Texas and california are fine comparisons to demonstrate that more taxes doesn't work to make life better. I mean in the sense that ca taxes the hell out of its people and Texas doesn't and compare the quality of life and cost of living

Hey, I don't mind it. The government already takes MORE than enough in taxes. I used my last one for guns, and I will use this one for ammo. The utter incompetence and corruption of government officials are why we are in this position, and why ammo costs so fucking much. Now that there is a very real chance of having to USE this ammo, I only find it fair that I am reimbursed. Even so, that only buys about 1,500 rounds, which is not that much.
Your not getting reimbursed, they are devaluing your money now. They are adding a tax by inflation and pretending its in your best interest. It is not.
Honestly. I pay thousands a year in taxes. Everyone complaining is free to donate their money back to the treasury, but they won't. They'll take it and spend it. Obviously opening the economy back up is the best solution, but until the people force it open that wont change. Complaining behind a keyboard certainly won't do shit. If they gave it to businesses you'd have a ton if businesses fraudulently take it like last time.
I feel extremely bad for small businesses owners. Theyve been fucked royally by this, and this alone is worth a revolution, but theres a difference between talking like a big person behind a keyboard and actually going out and doing that.
Not sure where you've been for over a decade but the government has been mass producing money since the recession with about 5 shots of Quantitative Easing into the banking system. How do you think the markets have become so bloated. When theyve sent stimulus funds to businesses there went trillions more in bloatation and fraud from companies coming out of bankruptcy just to claim it before going back in.

They're going to keep printing it ang giving it away to everybody else through government contracts, reducing the purchasing of your dollar, and inflating the markets into a huge bubble of hot air. Are you somehow under the delusion our National Debt is at $27 trillion because of the $250 billion round of prior stimulus paid to the people? Get real. It is up $20 trillion in 12 years, so acting like those who want to claim a tiny piece of that money, that amounts to about $250 billion, are somehow heretics is fucking laughable.
Same here. I specifically taught myself Technical Analysis so I could come out ahead on my own stock trades, not even including 401k. Currently up 30% this year in spite of a sideways market. Good luck to you as well.

We didn't take it. Our small business is now dead, but we always joked it was a non profit run to benefit our employees anyway ;-).
I don't take a dime from the government that I am not directly entitled to, and neither hubby nor I consider the so called stimulus something we were entitled to. And I pay only the taxes I am required to. As of this year, our income is such we will no longer be net tax payers, at least for a little while. But the government can take that money and shove it. I am not going to leech of other tax paying citizens.

Actually I think this is what Trump was fighting for earlier, no? Direct payments to Americans rather than a large spending bill with bailout money for bankrupted states. If this passes then there will be less public pressure for a bloated relief package. I don’t support handouts, but this is clean at least

The best solution is no stimulus. Open back up and get back to work. Second best solution is send money directly to all US citizens. No pork, no corporate welfare, no kickbacks
If they're gunna do it, they ought to make that money only spendable at small businesses, for rent, or for food. As it is, most of it will just cycle back to China. Open up, and this could be the small business stimulus.

You can believe the printing is not going to stop. The National Debt has gone up $20 trillion in the last 12 years. $250 billion of that was the last round of checks sent to the people. They'll keep printing and spending and fattening elitist pockets. How do you think all of these politicians all have over $100 million bank accounts? Selling political favors with fat government contracts financed by taxpayers.
