When the Washington DC National Zoo gets a new pair of Pandas, Trump should name them Bang Bang & Fang Fang...lol I think I'm off to make a meme with some pandas now.
Been waiting for a legal Pede to chime in. What do you think is going to happen here.
If they don’t take the case and side with Texas, not because of the fraud but because of the constitution, I don’t see how we ever hold the constitution up as our standard again. What say you?
They kept using sensation type words that are more emotionally charged too. Like wtf is this?
The cascading series of compounding defects...
You could remove "cascading" and "compounding". I can't imagine a judge would like to be morally scolded and told how to act, these people are retarded.
All the defense filings read like this. They cited goddamn news media stories for Christsake! They cited an AP story about the court cases! This is the Supreme Court! CITE THE ACTUAL CASE RULINGS.
Every single defense brief reads like it was written by a "journalist" instead of a lawyer.
States already have wildly different election procedures, many have the the very same objectionable mail-in schemes as the accused states, only these were legally proscribed by legislatures, not courts or executives.
So the court is being asked to toss the state elections because of the way the laws were enacted, not because the laws are necessarily unfair to Texas et al?
If there isn't a way for SCOTUS to rule on blocking poll watchers, receiving ballots from unqualified voters, and the other fuckery, seems like a tall order to me.
Love to be wrong. Lawyers? Constitutional scholars? Bueller? Anyone?
The core issue raised by the plaintiffs (and largely ignored by the defense) is that the laws were not followed, not that the laws are unfair.
They present a bunch of evidence, including evidence of fraud, which basically points to the fact that the states laws were either ignored or changed by the executives and the courts. If they hadn't, all this fraud wouldn't have occurred, so their results are tainted and must be thrown out.
Not a lawyer, but I've worked in law and policy for a decade and am working on my JD.
Look at past court rulings. They (SCOTUS) have made clear not to f around with election law anywhere near the actual election occurring. They don't like judges getting involved one bit.
Can't blame them, it works among their peers and they've been getting away with this nonsense for a long time. It's likely that they're writing this to their gullible base (rather than the court) who talks the same way because they know this case is solid so they're prepping the useful idiots for revolt when it's confirmed that Trump is, indeed, their daddy for another 12 years.
Maybe they thought the only Trump Team strategy was to compile statistics, eye-witness testimony and videos to show fraud, demand forensic audits, go the quasi-criminal investigation route. Which is unwieldy and eats up the clock. Then Texas does the beautifully simple thing: cuts straight to the fucking obvious Constitutional violation. It was the jugular all along...
Yep and it's possible that all the voter fraud lawsuits were dangling carrots to keep them focused on that while Texas prepared this case. I think this is it because look how quickly all the AG's joined (not that the voter fraud lawsuits weren't legit, they are).
It was a crack team, Brian Stelter (you can hear the squeals in the rhetoric), Fredo and Don Lemon. "Crack" team = literally smoking crack while they wrote it.
They have no intention of following the SCOTUS ruling against them. The will ignore it and there will very likely be a war. If they've proven anything it's that they are totally lawless.
I hope so too, but: prepare for the worst. One thing I've learned about these horrible people is that no matter how bad you think they are, they turn out to be even worse. So I don't rule out any apocalyptic scenarios.
Some of the aspects that were thrown out for the original checklist of what was needed to vote was pretty interesting. Land ownership makes tons of sense...it's like requiring some "skin in the game".
If only citizens were allowed to own land, that'd work. Assuming the citizen issue was worked out as well so as not to allow anchor babies to cheat on behalf of foreign governments (like China buying up land all over).
Hence why the Electoral College is so important. But we allowed our education system to be infected by Marxist scum, who indoctrinate our children with bullshit.
The electoral college is dumb, we need to get rid of it! We should just have a popular vote RRREEEEEE!
In their mind, it's okay to disenfranchise "Nazi's, Racists, and White Supremacists".
The hard-left poll workers were taught in school about how the Electoral College is meant to enslave blacks. They felt justified when they did their fraud. To them, it's "rescuing democracy".
However, they have awoken the MAGA beast and filled him with a great resolve.
[pssst....hey pede....the Texas brief referred to our government as a constitutional democracy. Constitutional democracy = republic...I would have made the same mistake but for reading Texas' brief]
I think the constitutional in constitutional republic is superfluous in this context. Although I have seen constitutional republic elsewhere. So it is not wrong to say constitutional republic but neither is constitutional democracy.
This page have been updated more frequently and with more interesting postings than TheDonald.Win today. No offense, but hitting F5 Refresh have been a lot more interesting on SC website today.
I found the document, "Opposition to motion for leave to file bill of complaint and motion for preliminary injunction, temporary restraining order, or stay from defendant Pennsylvania filed" filed today. Fascinating. They really are that stupid.
It gets better fren. If you really want laughs, check out the amicus filed by DC. I guarantee you a journolist reporter wrote it. They cite more news stories than court cases.
The Detroit filing actually says DEBOOONKT and is nothing but a hit piece full of outright lies attacking the affidavits.
Its funny, sad and infuriating all at the same time. Liberals are adults with the mind of children, literally. They mentally never grow up. That "argument" sounded like something my teenager would say after get busted for something. These people-children actually have power in our country, and they're now trying to steal an election. Like all children, they need a strong adult to step in and discipline them.
Group think, it will be the downfall of all communist. The think it's a strength, when in actuality its their greatest weakness. Its all about control. Hives are controlled by an elite queen... communist ideology is the same. Top down control by the elites who have absolute power. (the great reset)
You need a real fucking surreal alternate reality to hold a defective election with no oversight or transparency and then calling anything pointing this out as a "cascading series of compounding defects"
Wow SOMEONE didn't actually read the filing by Texas, that's actually amazing. The lawsuit isn't seeking to throw out or overturn the results of the election, just to have new electors chosen. They could technically choose to still send Biden electors to vote.
I really hope this is real so we can watch SCOTUS kick their ass.
Unless they want to lose their next election it's probably in their best interest. My district's reps are all in on Trump. Some of them might not be but the majority leader is so hopefully he could whip the votes in the right direction.
That's what I'm hoping as well ! Giving them another chance, after they've seen all the proof, will hopefully give them the courage (and with our support via phone call etc) to send Trump electors instead of Biden ones.
The whole idea of the Texas lawsuit is that the current slate of electors were appointed unconstitutionally due to the executive branches change of the method of voting/going against voting rules without going through the legislature. By doing so they dilute the vote of everyone in Texas and the other states. It isn't asking SCOTUS to pick the new President - it is asking SCOTUS to rule in favor to throw out the current slate of electors, and tell the State Legislators to choose a new slate of electors.
Texas isn't asking them to choose Trump over Biden, it's just asking for new electors via the legislature. That's why I'm laughing at the responses of the states.
They could convene and choose to vote for Biden still, hence Texas not asking them to overturn the election. It doesn't scream 'FRAUD! PICK TRUMP!' (although we're all hoping that through our calls and our hearings that's what happens). It only screams 'UNCONSTITUTIONAL ELECTION! BYPASS THE GOVENORS AND SOS'S AND PICK NEW ELECTORS"
State law, in EVERY state, and the US and State Constitution says that the LEGISLATORS choose the electors. In this case, it wasn't the legislatures that choose/certified. It was the Executive Branches of the 4 states.
Your thinking is too emotionally involved so you aren't understanding, Texas only wants to make sure the electors are chosen on the basis of the constitution of the United States. Right now they have not been with the executive branch overstepping their power and the checks and balances of the state and us constitution. It has nothing to do with forcing them to choose Trump instead of Biden and Texas has made it clear they aren't asking SCOTUS to choose the new President. They only ask for things kicked back to the legislative branches in each state. Everyone's votes (even the fraudulent ones) haven't changed, have all been cast, and I'm sure the legislators will keep that in mind as they reconvene to choose their new electors, if they choose to do so at all.
What's interesting is that there were apparently some lawsuits (with positive outcomes that what happened was unconstitutional) that were filed the initial changes in 2019 but I don't know what happened with them/I dunno where to find them. It will be interesting to see if SCOTUS uses those results as precedent here, but we'll see.
I'm assuming you're a Biden voter from your new account, so I wish you the best of luck and a great night. May the best candidate win!
Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves. And they shall make a List of all the Persons voted for, and of the Number of Votes for each; which List they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the Seat of the Government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted. The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately chuse by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chuse the President. But in chusing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the Representation from each State having one Vote; A quorum for this Purpose shall consist of a Member or Members from two thirds of the States, and a Majority of all the States shall be necessary to a Choice. In every Case, after the Choice of the President, the Person having the greatest Number of Votes of the Electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal Votes, the Senate shall chuse from them by Ballot the Vice President.
THIS article right here is part of what the Governors and SOS's bypassed by doing what they did. There are also additional directions similar to what our US Constitution has in the state Constitutions too. If you scroll up the top and read, it also says that All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
So if Texas wins this case then the defendants' legislatures would/could convene and choose electors, thereby bypassing the 2020 election results in each of those states?
If Texas wins the case then the SCOTUS will then send it back to the State Legislatures to rechoose their electors. It is 100% up to them whether or not to choose Trump or Biden and to take into accounts the votes (and voters) of their states. That's the beauty of the Texas lawsuit.
Check out/keep up with this channel on Youtube. They give fabulous explanations https://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialACLJ as to what's going on each day. They come up at noon eastern time and go for an hour.
That's on the state. Not the courts or other states. The state legislatures decide the electors. Period. Their right to pick them was violated by acts that caused them to lose that right.
That hurts the union as a whole.
The idea is to give the process back to the legislatures as they've been redpilled by Rudy so they can pick Trump electors.
I think you're getting lost in the weeds here. You're right, but the corruption purge has to go one step at a time, here. There's even more swamp than Trump expected.
The election results, as they stand currently, have been corrupted by illegal actions made by representatives OTHER THAN the legislature. Therefore, they should be ignored.
Oh look, they ruled 5-3 on just such a thing in Oct 2020
"The Constitution provides that state legislatures — not federal judges, not state judges, not state governors, not other state officials — bear primary responsibility for setting election rules," Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote in a concurring opinion.
These traitors are accusing others of disregarding the constitution, yet that is exactly what Democrats did when they changed the election rules at the last minute.
Just more of the same "accuse others of what you're doing" from Dems.
For those that are lazy and/or those who do not believe we are at war (Cold American Civil War), here are the rules that we need to turn back on them. Think about how Trump uses these, how we have already found success as We the People using these, and how YOU can AMPLIFY THE SIGNAL

I’m pretty sure you made up that quote association, though. Marx was a degenerate beatnik not a tactician or politician. I thought that quote was Goebbels or someone.
If the link doesn't work just go to Google or a search engine of your choice and search "Accuse your enemy of what you are doing, as you are doing it to create confusion" with the quotations around it to see for yourself. If you can debunk this, please be my guest and humble me.
Almost feels like whoever drafted this hasn't actually read the TX lawsuit. They are litigating against what they think the case is about, not what TX actually argued.
Can you imagine the Pandora's Box this will open if the Supreme Court buys this argument? State judiciaries passing unconstitutional laws weeks before elections without going through the legislatures. At that point, why even have legislatures?
SCOTUS justices, excluding a few, are actually intelligent and not the law school leftovers filling the lower courts. They're going to tee off on these weak arguments and fallacies like an ac130 on the taliban.
That’s about what I got out of it. Granted I’m sure they cite sources to back up their claims too, it’s not a good intro. Using wording like “bogus claims” blows my mind. It’s like it was written for the average viewer of CNN to understand but not suitable for a the Supreme Court
Did you read the mess that was Detroit's filing? I couldn't get through it. Whole buncha didn do nuffins and defending fraud claims when that's not what it's about.
Michigan's was challenging for me to read as well because of how they constantly tried to make the newest MI Election laws sound fair when they clearly weren't.
I am soooo looking forward to listening to the defense attorneys respond to questions from the justices. Even the liberal justices will likely excoriate the defense if this is the foundation of their defense.
"But Alito, this was debunked!"
"By whom?"
"CNN!"
"How?"
"They said MSNBC debunked it!"
"How did MSNBC debunk it?"
"They cited that the Washington Post said it wasn't suspicious!"
"Get the hell out of my courtroom."
I think that the plaintiffs should turn their accusations of 'disenfranchisement' back at them. If there was indeed fraud in the cities, if there was enough fraudulent votes to decide the outcome of the election, then in fact the fraud disenfranchises the majority of people who voted legally in those states. Voters who chose Donald J. Trump to be their president. You cannot disenfranchise people who were not eligible to vote in the first place, people who are dead, or people that don't exist.
Watching some of the hearings showed how ignorant they were about the voting machines.
After seeing the vulnerabilities demonstrated by the Bacon County Board of electors, one can only conclude that those who brought this system into the State of Georgia need to be criminally charged.
No changes have been made, and now were being asked to vote in January on those same failed systems.
Remember that old saying, pedes: “If you have the facts, pound the facts. If you have the law, pound the law. If you have neither, pound the table.” PA’s response is pounding the table.
I put money it ends up in the majority decision nearly verbatim. The court already ruled on basically the Texas claim earlier in the year. PA ignored Alito too. Not to mention democrats have called at least 4 of the justices rapists or racist
two of the now sitting justices were subjected by Democrats to two out of three of the very worst ad hominem, character assassination attempts in the history of our republic (Judge Bork was the 3rd such victim)
one of the sitting justice (the latest), demonstrated on public video viewing for the entire nation to witness that she is literally of higher IQ than all the Democrats in current congress combined
Well, they were calling ACB racist and using her adopted black kids as tokens. Plus that idiot Hirono asked if she raped anyone.
Thomas and Kavanaugh were called rapists. One by Biden and the other by Cameltoe.
Gorsuch they accused of plagiarism and being incompetent at the very least from memory.
Bork definitely got it so bad his name became part of vocabulary.
The way they have treated these people will come back to haunt them on this case I think. The law is pretty plain and clear on this issue. Plus it's in their self interest not to let Biden win when democrats are talking about diluting their power.
They're too used to being in their state courts ran by liberal cucks where they could probably write literally anything and still have the commie judges rule in their favor.
I hope nobody paid them for their work on that because that's shite.
Pay for work in fortune cookies, get fortune cookies for work. Fuck Communism
They also spelt affront wrong. Also none of the claims were 'considered' by courts. This lawsuit isn't even about those claims, and actually courts have ruled, like the one in PA did, that it was unconstitutional and merits will likely succeed. They were thrown out without hearing. This filing reads like mainstream media propaganda
It’s speaking like this that makes people hate the Democrats and the leftists. You can just feel the smug coming off the text.
They don't want to win this on the merits because they can't.
They want to issue veiled threats laced with hyperbole to scare the Justices into not doing their duty.

Next level trolling.

I think perhaps they put so little effort into the defense because they have no intention of abiding by the Supreme Court's decision.

I am in the NYC metro area right now. Thank God I just got a call from my real estate attorney saying that we're closing on the sale of my house next week. I want to be out of here ASAP. Of course this is just a feeling I have, but it wouldn't surprise me if the blue state governors try to close down the borders and secede. What sucker would buy NY real estate at this time? That market is gonna collapse.

Actually - the real estate market in NY is brisk...
theres alot of patriots left in the trisate area, and were probably the only ones with guns
I have no idea how secession would work. I would absolutely flee this shithole if that happened.
You’re so right it’s scary.

Rhetorically and intellectually, this is on the level of a B- Gender Studies term paper.
This brief is worse than a first year law student’s pretend brief for Legal Writing class.
Snowflake brief ❄️
They really should have inserted the hand emojis into the response brief. It would’ve added a nice touch and sold their argument much better. 🤣
Dude, these are the people who think the green new deal isn’t costly.
"What do you mean how? You just *pay *for it"
It was probably $20 mil or some shit.
come on.. you know Penn tax payers paid for that
Constituent - HARD MODE
Came here to say that. They didn't respond to the Plaintiff's claim, lol. This is nuts.
Did they hire Jim Acosta as their defense attorney? This opposition brief sounds like they copy-and-pasted twitter comments and CNN jargon.
Completely. The signature page was probably drenched in their tears.
Dear SCOTUS...
No Creepy Porn Star Lawyer.
According to the democrats if you ignore the base claims and deflect it should go away. Ask Swawell if he banged Fang Fang and he won't even answer you.
let's tweet to the cuck "Did you bang Fang Fang?"
we should get bangfangfang trending
WangGangBangFangFang (why is this so much fun?)
When the Washington DC National Zoo gets a new pair of Pandas, Trump should name them Bang Bang & Fang Fang...lol I think I'm off to make a meme with some pandas now.
Banged by. Fang Fang was the top.
Both need to be arrested asap
But they emoted everywhere! REEEEEEEEEE
they are really offended, which means tzey must be right! 🤣
They blew a fuckin gasket
Tell me that's not real? Please, they're using "street" vocabulary.....gads...smarter than 5th grader? Me, thinks not....
"bogus claims" is a technical legal vocabulary used by the highest courts in the lands. In layman terms you'd usually hear it phrased as "deboonked".
That word made me stop when i read it, like did they really just use the word bogus??
It is a real term, not just something from Bill and Ted.
Still unprofessional, especially given the litany of big blusterous words they tried shining this turd with.
I’m an attorney. I would never use the word bogus. “Improper” “inaccurate” and “outrageous” would be better.
Bogus sounds like a 17 year old arguing against someone in debate class.
Been waiting for a legal Pede to chime in. What do you think is going to happen here.
If they don’t take the case and side with Texas, not because of the fraud but because of the constitution, I don’t see how we ever hold the constitution up as our standard again. What say you?
Or “obviously.” Anytime that word is used in an argument, you can immediately discount that argument.
They kept using sensation type words that are more emotionally charged too. Like wtf is this?
You could remove "cascading" and "compounding". I can't imagine a judge would like to be morally scolded and told how to act, these people are retarded.
"Heinous," dude.
Definitely more appropriate for a Bill and Ted type of context tho
For some reason that made me laugh. Thank you.
Totallllly untubular maaaan
All the defense filings read like this. They cited goddamn news media stories for Christsake! They cited an AP story about the court cases! This is the Supreme Court! CITE THE ACTUAL CASE RULINGS.
Every single defense brief reads like it was written by a "journalist" instead of a lawyer.
That only works if the courts side with them. An injunction tomorrow means they can't delay.
Not a lawyer, but here's my take.
They are going to spank these states.
I could write better drunk and that’s saying something,
It’s like in school when you have to reach a certain page limit so you just start throwing extra words in where you can fit them lol
Write when drunk, edit when sober. Got me a liberal arts degree that I now use as spare toilet paper.
Hey I gots me one then expensive toilet papers too!
That stuff is worth gold on the black market.
I additionally possess a bibliograph entitled thesaurus.
Agree, I think it was planned.
The 600 lawyers were distracted by The Kracken. 4D Chess on the next level.
Thanks Heady. Lol
"that's HEADley"
Maybe they should call in Mongo to argue the case.
Mongo only pawn in game of life.
Oh for days whence I would go romping with my schoolchums in the fens and spinneys, until the twilight kissed the hedgerow like a lambent flame...
You use your tongue better than a twenty dollar whore.
“You sure use your mouth prettier than a $20 whore”
Must've had some CNN writers contribute to it
You laugh, but some of the defense filings actually did cite CNN.
And WaPo. And NYT. And AP. And Reuters. And BBC. And more.
Lmao get the fuck out here! If this is true, it's like the news job is to go get sources and produce it in a format for a layman.
It's like citing a h.s paper that some kid wrote about a book instead of just citing the book.
Lmfao these clowns
These people get their education from MSM instead of books.
Imagine my surprise
It was a crack team, Brian Stelter (you can hear the squeals in the rhetoric), Fredo and Don Lemon. "Crack" team = literally smoking crack while they wrote it.
They have no intention of following the SCOTUS ruling against them. The will ignore it and there will very likely be a war. If they've proven anything it's that they are totally lawless.
I hope you are wrong.
I hope so too, but: prepare for the worst. One thing I've learned about these horrible people is that no matter how bad you think they are, they turn out to be even worse. So I don't rule out any apocalyptic scenarios.
They think they're ethical because they don't want to HAVE to use violence first, only as a last resort.
1 in a quadrillion to the forth power
This.
They got that fucking wrong brooooooooo wttffffffff.....
It's real - crazy huh?
HONK HONK

It is, sadly, real.
And, fake voters can’t be disenfranchised.
CHECK THE SIGNATURES
While a fake voter simultaneously disenfranchises a real voter.
fake voters are people too!
City people get three votes per vote because they deserve it due to their superior virtue.
I seriously think city people should get less votes, but that's a different conversation.
I've always liked Jefferson's concept of democracy.
What's that?
Some of the aspects that were thrown out for the original checklist of what was needed to vote was pretty interesting. Land ownership makes tons of sense...it's like requiring some "skin in the game".
= No Lefty/Democrat will get elected EVER again ✅
Why have voting age at 30 if you can serve in Congress at age 25? Perhaps it should return go the original 21.
They have a higher fart index
Unless you voted Trump in the city, then your vote was -4.
That’s just part of reparations bigot.
These Democrat dictators disenfranchised voters by administering unconstitutional election procedures. They’re the ones to blame.
ACB go Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt
[pssst....hey pede....the Texas brief referred to our government as a constitutional democracy. Constitutional democracy = republic...I would have made the same mistake but for reading Texas' brief]
Wait so a Constitutional Republic is a Constitutional Constitutional Democracy? Am I missing something here?
Ha!
I think the constitutional in constitutional republic is superfluous in this context. Although I have seen constitutional republic elsewhere. So it is not wrong to say constitutional republic but neither is constitutional democracy.
This can't be real.
This is real. If you want to drown in legalese you can find it all here: https://www.supremecourt.gov/search.aspx?filename=/docket/docketfiles/html/public/22o155.html
This page have been updated more frequently and with more interesting postings than TheDonald.Win today. No offense, but hitting F5 Refresh have been a lot more interesting on SC website today.
This is history!
I found the document, "Opposition to motion for leave to file bill of complaint and motion for preliminary injunction, temporary restraining order, or stay from defendant Pennsylvania filed" filed today. Fascinating. They really are that stupid.
My greatest regret is that this will go down and I will not be a participant.
I got my watering can ready and everything, damnit.
yuuuuup!
“Accuse your enemy of what you are doing, as you are doing it to create confusion” -- Karl Marx
It’s real. And it sounds exactly like a democrat wrote it
”Our feelings are hurt”
They could have put that and saved me the time reading it.
It really was a waste of time
Its funny, sad and infuriating all at the same time. Liberals are adults with the mind of children, literally. They mentally never grow up. That "argument" sounded like something my teenager would say after get busted for something. These people-children actually have power in our country, and they're now trying to steal an election. Like all children, they need a strong adult to step in and discipline them.
Actually, it's more like this:
Texas: You're not abiding by the rules we mutually established.
Pennsylvania: No, you're the one rigging the election.
They're not even arguing against the accusation. Which makes them look even more guilty than if we'd accused them!
This bogusness has all been prebooonked -- Pennsylvania, Dec 2020
This is hilarious. It even uses the same "alternate reality" phrase we heard from senator Karen Parent in the GA hearings.
I first saw it on a CNN article. It's popular on reddit too.
The PA lawyers are redditfags
1000 upkeanus to the left!
Of course it sounds the same.
They’re a LITERAL hive mind.
Group think, it will be the downfall of all communist. The think it's a strength, when in actuality its their greatest weakness. Its all about control. Hives are controlled by an elite queen... communist ideology is the same. Top down control by the elites who have absolute power. (the great reset)
It came off the "Approved DNC Talking Points for the Marxist Agenda -- December 2020" white page.
It’s called CNN
The Associated Press
They forgot to scream, "RAAACIST!".
You need a real fucking surreal alternate reality to hold a defective election with no oversight or transparency and then calling anything pointing this out as a "cascading series of compounding defects"
Damn, if they forgot to add that they must be having a terrible day.
They're saving it for the trial.
They should have MI Rep. Cynthia Johnson do the oral arguments.
Nah, the general assembly is majority R. They are sending Trump electors
While we hope, we can't assume that though; the legislators will still have to get together and decide.
I hope I make sense.
Article 2, Section 1: https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/
2 nigga
Therefore, they should be ignored.
yeah about that...
Nope. But you know who can? The State Legislatures. Oh hey look, a brief supporting Texas filed by the PA State Legislature.
Oh look, they ruled 5-3 on just such a thing in Oct 2020 "The Constitution provides that state legislatures — not federal judges, not state judges, not state governors, not other state officials — bear primary responsibility for setting election rules," Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote in a concurring opinion.
I think the Dems are playing Shoots-and-Ladders
Their going to be playing Sorry soon.
They are playing tic tac toe at best
These traitors are accusing others of disregarding the constitution, yet that is exactly what Democrats did when they changed the election rules at the last minute.
Just more of the same "accuse others of what you're doing" from Dems.
“Accuse your enemy of what you are doing, as you are doing it to create confusion” -- Karl Marx
Can't make this shit up.
Alinsky, Rules For Radicals
For those that are lazy and/or those who do not believe we are at war (Cold American Civil War), here are the rules that we need to turn back on them. Think about how Trump uses these, how we have already found success as We the People using these, and how YOU can AMPLIFY THE SIGNAL
The Rules
"Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have."
"Never go outside the expertise of your people."
"Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy."
4. "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."
"Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage." -- THE GREAT MEME WAR II >> 2017 - 2021
"A good tactic is one your people enjoy." -- MEMES, JUSTICE, & LIBERTY FOR ALL
"A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag." -- What about memes you ask? THOSE ARE EXEMPT
"Keep the pressure on." -- PESTER YOUR SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES OR THEY ARE YOUR RULERS >> BE THEIR BOSS
"The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself." -- HOT CIVIL WAR
"The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."
"If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative." -- MSM TRIED >> QANON SPARKS DISCOVERY
"The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."
"Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." -- BUT NOT JUST HILARY OR HUNTER >> THINK BIG! >> DEEPSTATERS; PEDOS; GLOBALISTS; CORPORATISTS; POLITICIANS THAT REPRESENT THOSE ENTITIES' INTERESTS
I’m pretty sure you made up that quote association, though. Marx was a degenerate beatnik not a tactician or politician. I thought that quote was Goebbels or someone.
Here's some sauce for you.
If the link doesn't work just go to Google or a search engine of your choice and search "Accuse your enemy of what you are doing, as you are doing it to create confusion" with the quotations around it to see for yourself. If you can debunk this, please be my guest and humble me.
oh well I stand corrected
Truth is stranger than fiction. Know your enemy.
I agree, in order for SCOTUS to side with the Defendants, they would have to:
There is no way in hell they find against Texas in this case.
Isn't it amazing that just in time for such an important case, three originalist judges were just appointed?
God really is on our side.
The fact that this isn't already considered the norm and the expected standard is extremely worrying
SCOTUS justices, excluding a few, are actually intelligent and not the law school leftovers filling the lower courts. They're going to tee off on these weak arguments and fallacies like an ac130 on the taliban.
I think they just looked at a reddit post or watched CNN and based the case the response on that
That’s about what I got out of it. Granted I’m sure they cite sources to back up their claims too, it’s not a good intro. Using wording like “bogus claims” blows my mind. It’s like it was written for the average viewer of CNN to understand but not suitable for a the Supreme Court
When you have the facts on your side, pound the facts.
When you have the law on your side, pound the law.
When you have neither on your side, pound the table.
This is the definition of pounding the table.
I’m no attorney but telling SCOTUS without citation, that they’ve already rejected the claims made in the TX suit is probably not going to end well.
It's not like the SCOTUS can remember all the way back to October, when they already ruled on it
Reads like a teen vogue opinion article.
Meaning, written under the influence of xanex and box wine?
Cruz is going to have them crying in court before lunch.
You have to read this while stomping your feet like an 8 year old girl, for it to make sense.
In my head she was sobbing uncontrollably.. but now I'll have to re-read it lol
This reads like a high school essay, not the legal response one would send to the Supreme Court.
When you graduate from law school because of what you sucked, not studied.
Did you read the mess that was Detroit's filing? I couldn't get through it. Whole buncha didn do nuffins and defending fraud claims when that's not what it's about.
They know there was massive fraud so they feel the need to deflect said massive fraud.
Michigan's was challenging for me to read as well because of how they constantly tried to make the newest MI Election laws sound fair when they clearly weren't.
Dear scotus, I literally just can’t even.
Dear scotus, I am literally shaking. Texas is attacking me.
Sad that this is what it has come to.
I am soooo looking forward to listening to the defense attorneys respond to questions from the justices. Even the liberal justices will likely excoriate the defense if this is the foundation of their defense.
"But Alito, this was debunked!" "By whom?" "CNN!" "How?" "They said MSNBC debunked it!" "How did MSNBC debunk it?" "They cited that the Washington Post said it wasn't suspicious!" "Get the hell out of my courtroom."
EXACTLY. Wrap-up smears do not work in the Supreme Court of the United States.
The leftist justices aren't really justices. If they were Obama wouldn't have nominated them.
Agreed. The only people democrats should be mad at is their own leadership.
Diversity hire?
spit out my drink well done.
Plus the face shield.
And gloves.
Good Lord. Where did they get that from? Legal Zoom?
LOL!
This junk works in the state courts. Hopefully SCOTUS is able to see through this garbage.
FINALLY
Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
To be a fly on the wall in Alito's office when he reads this...
I wish each SCOTUS justice had a twitch stream so we could watch their every facial expression whilst reading these demolib diary entries.
A woman definitely wrote this. After wearing a mask all day and suffering from lack of oxygen to the brain. After reading huff post and buzzfeed.
They were huffing something.
The trans person that typed this up must've been laughing so hard that the soy milk was spraying out their pierced nose.
Of course the first sentence is “disenfranchising voters”. And the use of cacophony in the second....good God I may have to stop there.
Remember that old saying, pedes: “If you have the facts, pound the facts. If you have the law, pound the law. If you have neither, pound the table.” PA’s response is pounding the table.
Did you just assume PA's gender? YOU TRANSPHOBIC ANTISTATIST RACIST REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
You think that bar is low? Wait til Thomas can’t be bothered to write more than “Eat shit, Jive Turkey” as the majority opinion.
Another case of, the lady doth protest too much
I wonder how many times they had to check the thesaurus for the word: baseless
DNC Dictionary: "baseless" adj used to describe an allegation that hurts your feelings
They forgot to mention raysist at least one... I'm dissapoint.
metoo. Was hoping for peoples of color and diversity references like calling asians white supremacists.
Underrated comment right here. Yes that line is going to bite them in the arse reaaaal soon.
So, no refutation of the allegation, just emotional appeals to the 'wrongess' of Texas daring to challenge the election results. Interesting.
Hormonal bitch fest. What a joke.
They're too used to being in their state courts ran by liberal cucks where they could probably write literally anything and still have the commie judges rule in their favor.
It's basically, "Wah, we don't like that you're not letting us cheat! Why don't you just let us do what we want?!" 😡😭
Lol! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Trump is totes jelly!
I thought the same thing, and I am nowhere near having a legal degree
