Fellow Canadian here - as much as I despise Trudeau, I don't think there was any funny business with the last election. I think it had more to do with us idiot Conservatives 'electing' that absolute spineless cuck of a career politician, Scheer. Between that, Quebec doing what they do best (going full lefty nationalist), giving them 22 FUCKING SEATS with 1.3m votes, and...well, Singh...there was no way any party could get a mandate.

Man, how close were we with Bernier. That dipshit Scheer lost bigly to Mad Max on the first ballot, and ended up winning by ~700 votes. If you want to talk about rigged, I'd start there :/

Honestly! I don't even know what to call it. National Socialism? Oh...wait...

I agree with you. Too many idiot liberals in our big cities. I voted for Bernier, couldn’t vote for Scheer.

They are more socialist than nationalist.

Dude. Dominion tabulates the leadership election of the Liberals, NDP, Conservatives, and Green Party. You're choosing from a fixed menu.

did the Conservative party use dominion in the race between sheer and bernier?

Holy shit, just got this straight from wikipedia

In the 2018 Ontario municipal elections, over 150 municipalities in the Canadian province of Ontario conducted their elections primarily online, with physical polling stations either abandoned entirely or limited to only a few central polling stations for voters who could not or did not want to vote online.[27] On election day, however, 51 of those municipalities, all of which had selected Dominion Voting Systems as their online voting contractor, were affected by a technical failure

Also note this 2014 article about how the Liberals won New Brunswick in a landslide - Dominion was used:

Yes, and Bernier had a massive lead until a last minute data dump.

The Dairy lobby rigged it for Scheer. They bought up memberships and flooded the vote. The Conservatives helped them.

I still think there was election fuckery going on last year, though. Long-time conservatives lost their seats in southern Ontario. I doubt Trudeau would leave an election to chance if he could help it - it was probably a test run for next time. There are articles in the Globe and Mail and on the CBC website about previous elections in New Brunswick and Ontario that used Dominion voting machines and had "glitches" - older articles from 2014 and 2018.

Scheer getting elected would have sucked just as bad as Trudeau in the long run.

Scheer was only elected as PCP leader over Berbier due to a last minute data dump...in the Dominion voting program that was used for the leadership debate.

just to clarify - paper ballots for federal elections. Provincial and municipal can use machines, and Dominion Voting Systems are all over Ontario.

Interestingly enough, for every Canadian federal election that I've participated (since the late 1980s), the people who gave me my ballot wrote down the ballot number beside my name.

I always thought that was strange.

Oh you have much to learn about the Canadian electoral process my American friend. Spez: I'm not kidding or trying to be patronizing our system is very very different from yours and has different issues then simply electronic voting, however I don't think either of us have the time for a deep dive discussion on that right now.
