Some context, as a soybean farmer, and that’s big in Iowa. Agriculture was our leverage against China, and Trump used that BRILLIANTLY. It sucked for us farmers, but I understood the long game, and the President recognized this and directed tariff dollars toward farmers to help us weather the storm. To me it makes sense she met the commie, being from an ag state. I’m in ND, but it isn’t weird she met with him, my governors have done the same many times. I think their attorney general in Iowa is a commie, that’s why they haven’t gotten involved.
Governors do it all the time to promote their state’s products. I’m not trying to defend her, I don’t know much about how she acts as governor...I’m just saying governors do it ALL THE TIME for their own states.
