Stay away from the Church founded by Christ? Why?

Like all hierarchies involving humans, the Church has it's swamp monsters (maybe even the Pope sometimes), but alas it's still the one true Church which Christ Himself founded, and promised the gates of hell would never prevail against. On the other hand, Protestantism is just a choose-your-own-adventure cafeteria of 10,000 options, total chaos that lacks any Authority whatsoever.

If you were born into Protestantism, I understand. You've been propagandized all your life most likely. And I'm sorry that at some point in the past your ancestors lost faith in Christ, giving up on the Church and running away, rather than helping clean out the swamp of their day.

But at some point you got to put on your big boy pants and come home, and help the faithful beat back the swamp of today. It is Christ's Church, and He already promised that hell could not prevail...so what are you waiting for?

God wants you to experience the sacraments. Confession and the Eucharist especially. Protestantism robs you of the sacramental life, and it every denomination of it intentionally avoids those parts of the Bible it doesn't like.

Come home!

When Jesus came, he not only did not endorse the “original church” the Temple, but he confronted the Pharisees who were more concerned with the PRACTICE of religion, the traditions, Jewish sacraments but not faith.

Non Catholics have not “lost faith in Christ.” They have decided they don’t want Temple 2.0

You say this like you can't both do the practices and have the faith.

Which of course is total nonsense. There are millions upon millions of Catholic who follow Christ's commands ("Do this in memory of me") and have faith in Christ Himself.

Protestants have thrown out Christ's command and rejected the Church he set up ("You are Peter and upon this petros (rock) I will build my Church.) If you have faith, that's great...but so do Catholics. Christ demanded much more from his followers than just faith. As it says in Matthew Chapter 7:

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Christ has called me to HIMSELF. I have a personal relationship with Jesus, just like the people in the NT. The fact that you are arguing for a church instead of Christ is something you might pray about.

A few things you might know about me: I have a degree in theology. I read Greek and Hebrew. You are correct the Peter means Rock. I am correct in that the Bible was written as letters, not with chapters and verses. When you pull out a single line and turn it into a rule, it’s no different than what the Pharisees did. The Rock was the confession that Jesus is the Messiah and that is what the church is built in. Peter was renamed in honor of that.

I read the Bible from cover to cover every year and have done so for many years. Communion daily. I listen to sermon a day. I am part of a prayer community that meets twice a day online to pray.

I don’t say this to boast. I say this because sitting my butt in a Catholic Church pew wouldn’t suddenly make God pleased with me. I am a broken human. Your insistence that Protestants are saved or Godly and have an inferior faith is problematic.

I encourage you to think about why you use the word propaganda so much. You also set your self up as Judge in your comments. A precarious place to be when we are all saved by grace.

The demonic realm is highly structured and organized. Any organization that has an extensively hierarchical structure mirrors the demonic realm. They will always succumb to infiltration by the enemy. Once the head is taken, the body will follow. That is how Marxists have taken over every institution in the world. Notice how organized the globalists forces attacking our nation are. The same goes for churches. Besides the Roman Catholic Church, one could place some Protestant denominations such as the Southern Baptism Convention. Truly, anything that comes between the individual Christian and GOD is an idol.

Confession is an institute of man.

The demonic realm is highly structured and organized

So is Heaven.

It's not Comrade Christ, it's Christ the King. God commands a very clearly defined, highly organized hierarchy.

You don't understand at all. The hierarchical structures are completely different. Heaven is a Kingdom. The demonic realm is totalitarian like a Communist nation.

You're backpedaling.

Before you said hierarchy was inherently evil

Any organization that has an extensively hierarchical structure mirrors the demonic realm

Now you're admitting both Heaven and Hell are hierarchies (which debunks your former argument) and instead you're saying they are both hierarchy but "different."

The hierarchical structures are completely different.

You've completely debunked your own argument against the Catholic Church. Stop running away from Christ's Church, come home and help us restore it.

Matthew 16:18

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

The meme is always "Catholics don't know The Bible" but weirdly it's always Protestants that seem to forget this verse...
