1 Corinthians 1:10-13 NLT
I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. [11] For some members of Chloe's household have told me about your quarrels, my dear brothers and sisters. [12] Some of you are saying, "I am a follower of Paul." Others are saying, "I follow Apollos," or "I follow Peter," or "I follow only Christ." [13] Has Christ been divided into factions? Was I, Paul, crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Paul? Of course not!
Yep, for better or worse you have to stick with the Church.
Especially for the worse actually, because that's when Christ needs you the most. If Martin Luther and his ilk had instead remained faithful, far fewer souls would have been lost to the chaos of the last few centuries.
The rock referred to the confession of Jesus as the Messiah, NOT to Peter. It was what Peter acknowledged. This verse is not complete with out the previous verse. It was a conversation, not one sentence.
The church is built on believing Jesus is the Messiah. That is what this passage says.
Alright and Bruce Jenner says he's a girl...what's your point?
Matthew 16:18
The meme is always "Catholics don't know The Bible" but weirdly it's always Protestants that seem to forget this verse...

This is total nonsense.
The greek word for "rock" is petros (or petra.) Peter literally means rock.
Shake off that Protestant propaganda you've been fed and come home. Christ calls you to help him restore His Church.
