Must be able to present a minimum of three firearms & demonstrate proficiency on a hunt with skinning & butchering game onsite, while preserving the hide for tanning with each one. Failure to do so will be grounds for helicopter export.

Moving from CA to TX, was just here for police job, voted Trump, do I still have to attend? Not that Rittenhouse academy sounds badass tho.

The Rittenhouse of fucking commies. “Ok class, today we are going to learn what to do if a commie tries to bash your brains out with a skate board. And no, we don’t ask them if they are a pedophile first, because they are, all commies are pedos. First student with with the correct answer gets to demonstrate the correct exocuc.. answer to the class. Exhibit A. Commie specimen.”

Jim Edgar did a good job, but yeah other than that Illinois is pretty much trash.

40
Brellin 40 points ago +49 / -9

I don't think they can, legally speaking. People died in that instance and when that happens there's a legal process that has to happen. They might be able to get the charges dismissed because it's clearly a case of self defense, but I doubt they'll be able to get it dismissed based on claims of the case being brought against him for political purposes. Kyle killed people (entirely justified though it may have been) and that requires that investigations and court proceedings happen no matter how justified the killing(s) were.

110
bangbus 110 points ago +112 / -2

Nope. You don’t have to send self defense cases to a trial. It is a discretionary call by the prosecutor. Zimmerman wasn’t going to get tried until the political pressure got too high.

Watch the trayvon Martin hoax by Joel gilbert https://youtu.be/QAw5ykIPOBM

28
iDinduNuffin 28 points ago +28 / -0

They were this brazen 8 years ago, really puts what's happening now into perspective

62
Keiichi81 62 points ago +62 / -0

Trayvon Martin was one of the first eye-opening wake-up calls for some people. Using his old fucking elementary school photo on the news making people think it was a kid when Martin was an adult male, deliberately editing Zimmerman's 911 call to make him sound racist, repeatedly categorizing Zimmerman as "white" when he was clearly Hispanic just to play up the "white supremacist" angle, completely covering up the fact that Martin had Zimmerman on the ground punching him in the face prior to Zimmerman shooting in self-defense, Obama going on national television and dropping his infamous "if I had a son" remark inflaming racial tension when he should have been calling for calm as the investigation played out...

Everything about the Trayvon Martin case shouted "manufactured race war".

19
BlackPillBot 19 points ago +19 / -0

It was just another example of the hoax of black victimization that has been going on for decades. I wasn’t surprised one bit. As soon as the case hit the media, I knew the narrative was bullshit.

All the mainstream rappers at the time were glorifying lean or sizzurp or drank on their albums.

From the Urban Dictionary-

Lean

Aka. Purple Drank.

A mixture of Jolly Ranchers, Sprite, and codeine that will get you high asf.

Gary: Aye bro imma sip on yo purple kool aid.

Tyrone: That ain't kool aid you high ass nigga.

Gary: Aw fuck , you've been trippin on lean didn't you?

by yo dat ass January 28, 2018

Knowing Arizona Ice Tea and Skittles is an alternate mix for lean definitely changes the perspective of the media coverage.

That was an excellent documentary.

2
stonepony 2 points ago +2 / -0

The call is made by the facts and the law. Not the prosecutor's discretion.

There was no evidence to support probable cause for an arrest.

He's going to win a big fat civil suit payday.

1
bangbus 1 point ago +1 / -0

And whom do you think applies the facts to the law to determine whether the legal process should commence?

1
stonepony 1 point ago +1 / -0

The police. That's why we call them law enforcement. They actually take an oath to that effect. In this case, they had no evidence of any crime to justify an arrest.

Prosecutors do not have the discretion to file bullshit charges for political motives. That's why this prosecutor was dismissed.

That's why Kyle will win a big fat civil suit settlement. Because his rights were violated.

1
bangbus 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sir/Ma’am/Xir - the police have power to arrest you. On any serious crime, the prosecutor must decide whether to press charges. Very serious crimes even must be referred to a grand jury. The police have very little authority once an arrest is made.

Take, for instance, the recent case of Juicy Smolay in Chicago. Every cop there wanted him prosecuted. The DA, Kim Foxx, declined to press serious charges. The same shit is happening with these BLM “protestors” in a bunch of liberal cities. The cops arrest people and prosecutors decline to pursue the cases.

The Marxists have really infiltrated this process. Local elections are highly critical. Vote in them. Keep soft on crime Marxist DAs out of power.

1
stonepony 1 point ago +1 / -0

And some cops plant evidence or lie to facilitate a bogus arrest.

I'm only talking about what the law says, not what corrupt "law enforcement" do.

Neither the police nor the DA have the right to use their discretion to violate your rights or ignore the law.

Kyle never should have been arrested. According to the law.

25
CaptJohnYossarian 25 points ago +25 / -0

As always with the left, its all in the particulars. The legal process for a death, especially one with a firearm, has to go through legal scrutiny.

However, the left took Kyle to extreme heights, to make an example of him, even though he did everything right (fired only in self defense, submitted to police custody ASAP). A good judge would recognize the persecution going on and fast track a decision instead of the beleaguered proceedings that have been taking place. Its a real travesty that an altercation that took place on tape, showing aggression with intent to kill, could not be so summarily dismissed.

29
Hokage_Trump 29 points ago +29 / -0

The people were chasing were definately trying to jump him.

It's disparity of force, a person got to be blind to not see that from the video.

The left is bascially trying to make a example out of him, to squash any hopes of legal use of 2nd amendment.

25
zee_bear 25 points ago +25 / -0

I argued with so many people about this- in their minds, Kyle should have allowed himself to be beaten to death.

Argued with my mother over this a thousand times. Her refrain is always: "What was he doing there in the first place?"

Can't get past it. I can ask why the arsonists were there in the first place, I can say you don't excuse a rape because you're asking why the girl was dressed like that on the seedy side of town, etc, etc. Nothing works.

2
Camperdon 2 points ago +2 / -0

He was there to help a friend keep his business from being destroyed, right? And clean graffiti and render medical aid. He was there bc he felt the need to step up for his community as the town burned and police stood down.

He shouldn't have had to be there bc local govt and law enforcement should've been doing their jobs. Try that.

But if the prosecutor initiated a criminal case for political purposes and is then dismissed because of it, shouldn't the entire case be tossed because it's basically political persecution?

12
The_banned 12 points ago +13 / -1

I'm sure that will be the next step. No self respecting lawyer or prosecutor, especially in Missouri, would attempt to continue a case this hopeless. Kim Gardener tried to charge them with tampering with evidence, after she tampered with evidence and recording it in official documentation. She should be in jail for that.

“Ok, but now how will the Soros appointed DA be punished, and how will the Mccloskeys be made whole for their financial losses and the upheaval and destruction of their lives? Correct me if I am wrong, but they didn't point guns at a group of racial injustice protesters on a private street near their home. They were armed and stood their ground while a mob forced its way onto their property and surrounded their residence.

Reality_Check 25 points ago +25 / -0

Yes but they're white and white people aren't allowed to do that in America now because we decided it was more important that people don't think we're racists.

Ah, how silly of me!

Correct

MocksFordComma 6 points ago +6 / -0

And threatened to rape and murder them.

5
BlackPillBot 5 points ago +5 / -0

After breaking down their iron front gate. As far as I’m concerned they would have been justified in shooting the intruders who made it adamantly clear they were prepared for violence and to burn their house down.

2
Darkest 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually the only gun pointed was non operational... So the woman wasn't technically armed.

1
Donaldino 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's.... not how firearms and firearm lookalikes are viewed in the eyes of the law. If I were attacked by a super soaker diguised as a rifle and it actually looked like a rifle, I have every right to shoot that person.

You do but that doesn't negate what was said.

There should be, malicious prosecution is an actual crime.

This article is such trash:

A judge on Thursday disqualified the St. Louis prosecutor and her office from the case involving Mark McCloskey, who along with his wife pointed guns at racial injustice protesters marching on the private street near their home in June.

You mean, a mob of angry BLM supporters broke through the gate of his private property and threatened to kill him and his wife? I'm so sick of the media's blatant lies and bias.

On a seperate note:

The order applies only to Mark McCloskey and not his wife, Patricia, who faces the same charges. Attorneys for the couple are expected to ask that the ruling apply to Patricia McCloskey’s case, too.

The order will mean that a special prosecutor will be assigned.

They're far from out of the woodwork.

TheRealSasquatch [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Nevertheless it’s a step in the right direction. They were both doing the same thing ...protecting their property. It’s just a technicality which will be resolved. Keep in mind that they are both lawyers

1
oxygen 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah I'm aware. It's a good development, but this case has a long ways to go.

1
russianbot4673 1 point ago +1 / -0

it might be a step in the right direction. but what if the special prosecutor they appoint is just better at getting convictions? then it's actually a step in the wrong direction?

3
TheRealSasquatch [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

The key to this verdict is “initiated prosecution” for political reasons therefore if there were no political reason no prosecution would have been initiated.

14
OneBigMaga 14 points ago +15 / -1

"racial injustice protesters"

They people are insane. They were a mob of rioters who broke down a fence and threatened people.

5
streakybacon 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yes but to them, it's all justified. The rioters are the good guys in their eyes.

They love lawlessness and evil.

3
BlackPillBot 3 points ago +3 / -0

As soon as they broke through and tore down the iron gate to the McCloskeys property, they should have all been shot, and the local PD should have showed up, high fives them, and cleaned up the bodies. This country is truly a shadow of its former self.

13
Star_Commander 13 points ago +13 / -0

Now they can sue for civil damages.
