As always with the left, its all in the particulars. The legal process for a death, especially one with a firearm, has to go through legal scrutiny.

However, the left took Kyle to extreme heights, to make an example of him, even though he did everything right (fired only in self defense, submitted to police custody ASAP). A good judge would recognize the persecution going on and fast track a decision instead of the beleaguered proceedings that have been taking place. Its a real travesty that an altercation that took place on tape, showing aggression with intent to kill, could not be so summarily dismissed.

The people were chasing were definately trying to jump him.

It's disparity of force, a person got to be blind to not see that from the video.

The left is bascially trying to make a example out of him, to squash any hopes of legal use of 2nd amendment.

Ding ding ding

I argued with so many people about this- in their minds, Kyle should have allowed himself to be beaten to death.

Nuts

They're having trouble taking away the guns entirely, so instead they're just going to make it so legally devastating to use your guns that the armed populace never dares bring them out.

Argued with my mother over this a thousand times. Her refrain is always: "What was he doing there in the first place?"

Can't get past it. I can ask why the arsonists were there in the first place, I can say you don't excuse a rape because you're asking why the girl was dressed like that on the seedy side of town, etc, etc. Nothing works.

He was there to help a friend keep his business from being destroyed, right? And clean graffiti and render medical aid. He was there bc he felt the need to step up for his community as the town burned and police stood down.

He shouldn't have had to be there bc local govt and law enforcement should've been doing their jobs. Try that.

Some dick I was talking to said that he shot unarmed people, once I said the person he shot in the arm was going to shoot him he comes out with the fake news bullshit.............till I showed him the photo where he is on his knee still holding the pistol, then he comes out that it could have been doctored, until I then showed the clip....he finally admitted that he was carrying a pistol, then I hit him since you were wrong on that how much more are you wrong on? Turkey.
