I dunno if I'll hear back or not or what the verdict will be (as to whether or not they can help us or if it's too late for us to do so since the case is already so far along), or even whether or not us doing so will add any weight to the case (constitutionally), but if/when I hear back I'll post and let everyone know. I'm not going to doxx/name the firm right now since they're already extremely busy.
I would, however, like a general/initial number of pedes who would be planning to sign on in case the answer is an affirmative since we'd have to move fast.
So if ya'll could post here so I can give the org a starting number if asked. Just a screenname post, and the state you're in if you're comfortable doing so. Thanks ;)
Note: there is NO GUARANTEE that something will come of this, or if they will even reply to my email, just like in regular law related things, so yeah!
Yes Hard to reply as the up button gets in front of the save button
Same on my phone :(
Does rotating the phone to landscape help? Itβs awkward but the Save button is clear.
Ha! Good idea thx
You have to have a unique legal standing. As a citizen you can't file because you have no direct standing and your already covered indirectly as a citizen of the United States under the Texas filing
That's what I was wondering - but many people seem to be running with the idea, so I wanted to find out one way or another. We wouldn't be filing specifically, but under the umbrella of the org on behalf of us, or at least that's what I was thinking.
Would NOT want to file to join the case, we'd dilute the heck out of the thing.
Can definitely do that if the organization has standing before the court! Best thing is to call and email AGs, Congress and Senate expressing your feelings and show up on Saturday at a rally near you, but DC if you can.
I'm doing that as well ! Except for the rally- I'm too far away, and my back gives me problems with long drives. I really wish I could be there though; inauguration day I hope to make it to, with an American Flag that I rescued from the middle of the street :D I want it to fly free before it's retired with honor.
You are a patriot in every sense of the word πΊπ²πΊπ²πΊπ²
Thank you! I'm proud of my flag ! It's my first, a little beat up, but well worth the rescue <3 I tried to see if it could get repaired, but it's too far gone. I hope it had a good life before me though. Little things make me feel like i'm helping, even though I'm in a blue state (MA, ugh, our poltiicans are crazy here)
