I'm surprised there are so many Aussies here. A an American I pay 0 attention to Australian politics. I do know however that they had that fiasco with the crosswalk sign because the stupid broads down there thought they were sexist because the walk and do not walk were men. Fucking idjits.
👍Sky news Australia does have outstanding coverage of US politics. One of the senior anchor guys, as he actually reports the various shenanigans going on in US politics, has this absolutely based “what the fuck is going on with this shit“ tone and expression.
I think you're talking about Alan Jones, the man the commie Australian media hates the most (next to Trump). He's one of the very few reasons the Order of Australia still means anything nowadays.
Too right. Hardly watch TV anymore except for Sky News. Spend hours every day on TDW, Steve Bannon, Steve Turley, Mark Levin, Salty Cracker, Dan Bongino, Verdict with Ted Cruz, etc. Fuckin' awesome.
Saying mankind is sexist shows a complete ignorance of the etymological root of the word. 'Man' as it is used in mankind stems from old english, where 'man' simply meant human. In fact, to differentiate between male and female 'man', the prefixes 'wer-' and 'wyf-' were used, werman and wyfman.
You've probably noticed something familiar in those words. Yes, the 'wer-' is the reason we say 'werewolf', meaning 'manwolf'. And 'wyf-' gave rise to the word wife.
Another peculiarity I've noticed as a norwegian is that 'werman' sounds and looks a lot like the norwegian word 'hvermann', meaning 'everyman', as in the normal everyman you can find anywhere.
We're watching closely because our government ALWAYS follows the USA. The alliance with the USA is critical to our regional security. Australia is a very resource rich continent, with a low population (Fuck off, we're full), and there's no doubt that our over-populated regional neighbours would love some of it.

That’s him – legend.
They are massively entertaining!
sky news oz is more trustworthy than ANY mainstream news.
Aussies don’t pay attention to their own politics. America’s are far more interesting.

Ignorance is a liberal's middle name.
Interesting points, thanks for sharing. I was aware of the root of the word, but not the additional points - cool!
