According to article “It’s Kirkland & Ellis that binds Barr to Dominion Voting Systems as the firm guided its acquisition by Staple Street Capital during the time Barr was working at Kirkland & Ellis and before he left the firm to return to the DOJ for a second stint as AG and at the behest of President Donald J. Trump.”

Dominion Voting System’s acquisition by Staple Street Capital was handled by Barr’s firm, Kirkland and Ellis

Barr was not working at the firm at the time.

@TrumpTrollMaster - According to the articles as well as Wikipedia, he WAS at the firm at time of Staple Street Capital’s acquisition of Dominion Voting Systems. Ie., He rejoined firm in 2017, the acquisition was in July 2018 and he became Trump’s AG in 2019.

Wiki called Alex Jones a Conspiracy theorist.

Look how that turned out.

SSC acquired Dominion in October of 2020 with the SEC.

I think you may have your facts mixed up. Wasn’t Oct 2020 was when Chinese paid 400 million to (for?) the company??

Ah. You are correct.

As far as I am concerned, SSC was not a Chinese entity in Dominion ownership at the time of Barr's involvement.

I also doubt Barr would be aware of Dominion's practices as he was a lawyer who may not have even been top-billed for the paperwork.

Surely any lawyer would be aware that it is inappropriate for a private equity fund to be buying the US election system?!

Shouldn’t he have to recuse himself from any investigation into Dominion?? Well maybe he did but didn’t.bother to say so / it’s why he is doing nothing??
