I don't think it was in the TV show. But in the Game of Thrones book they talked about how Lord Frey (Yeah, the guy who does the red wedding) was called the "Late Lord Frey" by Robert Baratheon. Reason being, when Robert had his big battle against Rhaegar Targaryen, Frey only brought his men to the battle field AFTER the battle was decided. I.E. so he could support the winning side at no risk to himself.
