California needs Hollywood tax dollars to keep afloat while they're starving out the middle class.

As a Californian and specifically, a Los Angeleno, there's an awful lot of "below the line" middle classers that are employed by Hollywood. A tiny fraction is the stupid liberal elite. The majority of the crowd are people who are hopping from show to show, trying to make ends meet.

This also includes the stores and restaurants they buy food from, the prop houses they rent from, the lumber yards, vehicle rentals, the locations they pay for, the permits they pay for, etc. An awful lot of middle-class people work hard to survive in the industry.

USED to have. USED to. They're not done driving all the small restaurants and hair salons into the ground, that's why there had to be a "second wave".

Ding ding! The shut down stores are sad to see. And that is only the tip

It is essential for Hollywood to resume producing CCP propaganda. It is one of California’s top exports.

The streaming platforms are making them non essential too. Time for their rude awakening

What? The streaming platforms are the same exact industry. Most of them are cranking out a shit ton of original programming. There's no difference between a show you see on cable and a series on Netflix. It's all the same industry people working these shows.

There is a difference. The stars don’t have to be in LA anymore and a lot of people are being ‘cut out’. Turns out the people who stream a ton are not as picky as they are for the theatre. Just from what I have heard that industry insiders are freaking out about.
