Yes. Read my add on comment (slow typist) to the article. Leftists will try to downgrade the Constitution since we are in UnPreCedeNtEd TimEs with COVID. BS Smallpox was way worse and there is NO smallpox clause

I went online simply to identify when cowpox was used to overcome smallpox infections - and found a great article that lays it out perfectly.

During the upcomong SCOTUS debate we will see the MSM and other lefties breathlessly claiming that "the framers of the Constitution could not have anticipated a SOUPER CEREAL event like COVID-19!!"

Counter their BS. The framers knew full well of a devastating disease that flared periodically in their population: smallpox. 30% death rate v COVID of 0.04 death rate (varies). There is no provision in the Constitution stating that "in case of a smallpox outbreak, all these rules are ignored for the public good."

TL,DR: The lack of a smallpox clause in the Constitution allows one to tell lefties/MSM to STFU
