Maybe. But I dont think so. Even the Democrats, hell, ESPECIALLY THE DEMOCRATS, are not going to want to share. Lets set the stage.
Someone wants you to vote in their favor. They say "we will pay you". You say "ok, but I want more money". They say "Nah, we will pay so and so even less money to overrule you"
Or whatever the situation. Having more judges. Dems or Repubs, does not beinfit any of them. I mean look at Congress. Im willing to bet Pelosi wouldnt want to add more congrress members. That will just inevitably tie up their system even more. Even if they added more democrats congressmen. Just because they are apart of the same political party doesnt mean they arent going to oppose each other at some point. Have their own agendas. Or even like each other at all. Especially the Democrats. The Left ALWAYS EAT THEIR OWN. Just look at what they did to poor Bernie....... again. Lol
Probably the 2nd time. I think the first time they didnt. He was pissed the last election. They used him and he bashed them for it. And they hosed him again, they promised him a spot on Biden's team and then told him to get "F-ed"...... and then they paid him. Lol. Or perhaps they paid him every time. Wouldnt surprise me.
Regardless, the point is still the same. They constantly fight each other (evident with that meeting they had when they were saying "your socialist agenda caused us to lose house seats" and so forth. Point is that the establishment comes first. Republican and Democrat are just words we common folk use. They have no loyalties, only to themselves.
And SCOTUS isnt all that effected by who is President anyways. They effectively have more power than the President. Political affiliation is virtually meaningless to them when they essentially have power over both parties...... unless of course they pack the courts. Then that potentially gives the President more power than the Judges, especially when they appoint people who are in their back pocket.
I think the Dems on the court do want packing. They are going to be out voted on everything. It doesn’t dilute their power, it equalizes it.
Roberts...IDK
The conservatives, they DON’T want court packing. It would only dilute their power.

Point of order...
They didn’t eat Bernie, they paid him off.
