If SCOTUS says “uh, yah dumb asses - YOUR the ONLY ones with the power.” It gives them green light, political cover, to drag their SOS of state in and tell them to go duck themselves, they overstepped their authority. And they all can now pass laws saying Paper and Thumbprints only fucktards.
