Texas has sued the 4 states, PA, WI, MI, GA. Republican states and Trump as candidate have joined with Texas. Democratic states filed to join against.

The main argument is that these states did not follow the election laws set by their own state legislators, which violates both their own constitution and the US Constitution. Election rules were changed by officials and judges with no authority to do so. Cases where states sue each other go directly to the Supreme Court. This case requires no proof that fraud occurred to be successful.

Some states mad that other states didn't follow the rules when changing election law.

I.E. the state legislatures are supposed to pass laws about elections.

Governors can just make up their own laws. They can only sign or veto laws that the legislature wants to pass.

So Texas mad that PA and GA just randomly changed their election law to make fraud easier. It affects TX because they want Orange Man.

4 states cheated. Courts changed their election laws, unconstitutional. State legislatures must change state voting laws, not the courts.

States argue other states have no grounds to challenge, since violations occurred outside Texas- no effect (damage) to Texas voters.

But 4 state results DID effect (damage) the national results, therefore Texas has grounds to challenge.

4 states incorporate (use) COVID as a cause (excuse) for changes, but that would seem to render the Constitution worthless for every "national crisis" ... whatever it may be next time.

I think.... Texas (plus friends) think 4 swing states did no follow the rules established by the legislature. The constitution requires the legislature to decide how to select electors. Since judges and bureaucrats changed the rules all or some of the votes should not be counted. This would either change the results for some states or make the elections invalid since the rules of the legislature were not followed. The logical remedy is to let the state legislatures select the electors directly (presumably a popular vote of state legislatures). If the States fail to send electors and neither Trump or Biden get 270 electors then the House of representatives will have to decide.

Ultimately Texas (and friends) want SCOTUS to say "PA, MI, WI, GA... you failed to follow the voting laws your legislatures set forth, this means your election results are not the will of the people and you have to clean up your mess or don't send electors.

Ultimately the solution is a guerrilla war resulting in the deep state hiding in Europe living off the trillions of dollars they stole from the Tax payers.
