My logic is simple - I agree with almost everything Shapiro stands for. Ted Cruz agrees with almost everything Shapiro stands for. Trump agrees with almost everything Shapiro stands for.
My moral beliefs are not decided by any politician. I happen to embrace people who share my ideals. Trump has been the best expressing them to the masses with an attitude that doesn't care what others think.
Shapiro has the same attitude, and I respect that.
For four years, my opinions in person and on-line (mostly Facebook) have been met with accusations that I'm parroting Fox News rather than accepting the concept that Fox News was verbalizing what I was thinking independently. I find it troubling that some people on TDW have the arrogance to judge others by their purity to the cause. It's Orwellian in a forum where Orwell should be dismissed out of hand.
Trump and Shapiro both represent my values, for the most part. Neither one will ever decide what my values are.
If there's anything Trump has instilled in me that wasn't already firmly there, it is the power of the individual over the herd. He is a man of the people who doesn't want to rule us. He wants us to be left alone and thrive without the yolk of government bearing down on our shoulders.
Parroting the media about Russia and Ukraine? I don't recall him breaking out pom-poms and putting on knee-pads with the Presidential Seal, but I also don't recall him buying into Russian collusion.
I might be wrong. If you'd be kind enough to provide a cite or two I'd be happy to look into it.
I'd search for it myself, but I didn't make the disparaging claim.
Thanks for the enlightening comment. That's the kind of vacuous shit that some shill would copy and post on Twitter to make an argument that TDW is full of retards.
I don't have time to listen to radio shows. Sometimes I'll binge watch podcasts, but I won't watch Shapiro anymore than I'll watch Rush. Levin? He's always spot on.
My definition of a conservative is not adherence to Trump doctrine. He's the best President in my lifetime, and I voted for Reagan back in the day.
Defending core conservative values is much more important to me than defending a man. I do defend Trump vehemently and have lost some friendships as a result.
As a grandfather, I hope my grandson will learn about Trump's accomplishments. Also, as a grandfather, I understand it is probably likely that Trump won't be alive when my grandson casts his first vote.
The cause to me is bigger than one man, including myself. I'm grateful that Shapiro opened up my son's eyes.
Not really. I just know that a friend of my son sent my son a link to a Shapiro video of a campus talk he gave. My son watched that one and the next, and the next, and the next.
He called me a couple days later and told me he "got it".
Hate the man all you want, but he has a message that resonates and an ability to open up minds to the concepts of meritocracy and self-reliance.
Aside from his ability to think for himself and not being a Trump sycophant, where do you disagree with Shapiro?
The man was fighting for Trump's ideas before Trump even considered running for office.
I fight the people that fight me, and I would never turn away an ally in that fight.
If you think it's a good idea to alienate many millions of Trump supporters by telling them they are not Trump enough, you should have done that before the election. Trump would have lost by a landslide.
Don't be an arrogant prick by boasting you're more Trump than others. You piss people off, and worse than that? You scare people away.
You give credence to the "cult" meme the left has used to some success.
I can see why people on here think shapiros criticisms of trump can be unfounded and petty. And its frustrating when ben feels compelled to say something like obviously black lives matter but this is why the organization sucks. Its like he still cares about being called a racist or some shit. That being said he is a red pill machine, the reason I got as into politics as much as I am. Just got my leftist tears tumbler. Unpopular opinion im with OP on this one. Crowder put it well in his video about tucker, regardless of their deserved criticisms I prefer a world with Ben shapiro and tucker Carlson then without them.
And now that Shapiro supports Trump, what does he have to do to prove himself short of pledging fealty to his king? That would be a very cuck thing to do, btw.
Ben Shapiro is a condescending prick who had a privileged upbringing went to Haaaarrrrrvaaarrd and thinks he is better than everyone and continuously calls people stupid if they don't agree with him. He is a rich, whiny motherfucker with a superiority complex. He is good at policy etc, but when it comes to the cultural side of stuff he doesn't have a fucking clue what it is like to live like a normal person.
And Shapiro hasn't?
I simply want someone to explain to me the hypocrisy.
My logic is simple - I agree with almost everything Shapiro stands for. Ted Cruz agrees with almost everything Shapiro stands for. Trump agrees with almost everything Shapiro stands for.

Shapiro shares the same philosophy.
That's my logic.
I didn't vote for Trump in the primary, and I am a YUGE Trump fan. What is your point? I really want to know.
This thread is worth every down-vote I've gotten.
I just want to see logic with a dash of consistency instead of sheep simply braying - "Truuuump".
I have never even implied that anyone should not support Cruz or Trump. I support them both 100%.
YOU are the one suggesting that Shapiro can't support Trump now.
Do you understand the double standard you are imposing here?
Your attempt at logic defies logic.
Thanks for that compelling argument. I don't feel quite so stoopid anymore.
I never said "he stood up for Trump".
You are the one who is lying.
Not my turn to watch him.
What's Ted Cruz doing right now?
Shapiro was non stop parroting the media on Muh Russia, Ukraine, etc. Levin and Rush called the bullshit out from day one. That’s why we hate Shapiro.
Parroting the media about Russia and Ukraine? I don't recall him breaking out pom-poms and putting on knee-pads with the Presidential Seal, but I also don't recall him buying into Russian collusion.

People can compete with each other - hard - and then reconcile based on shared goals and values. You know - adulting.
And Shapiro, as a current Trump supporter is still, somehow, childish?
I didn't vote for Trump in the primary. To whom do I turn in my red hat and blue flag? I am obviously not worthy.
Yes. Shapiro is a current Trump supporter. He voted for him and released a video explaining why.
Do you have intel that he secretly voted for Biden?
Please share.
Watch this and get back to us - "I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016. I am in 2020 — here's why." - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7Xj3tYFKks&t=321s
Let's tell this guy to shut the fuck up?
Give me another example of a Beta cuck who actually admits he was wrong.
Because Cruz has proved himself as an outright defender of MAGA by his actions.
Shapiro will very grudgingly give Trump the tiniest bit of credit for something, then spend the next hour tearing him up.
Trump is the greatest conservative President and the strongest fighter we have ever had. Reagan had to battle the Russians.
Trump had to battle enemies foreign and within.
Trump exposed the corruption at every level, and he’s still doing it.
So what do Trump and Shapiro disagree on? Economics? Abortion? Foreign affairs? The role of government?
Give that a think and get back to us.
Shapiro is worse then a cunt.
Thanks for the enlightening comment. That's the kind of vacuous shit that some shill would copy and post on Twitter to make an argument that TDW is full of retards.
Because I don’t want to waste a bunch of time on Shapiro.
I listen to 100% Levin and Rush, 25% Bongino.
Just listen to Shapiro’s show and you will get.
He doesn’t defend Trump.
I don't have time to listen to radio shows. Sometimes I'll binge watch podcasts, but I won't watch Shapiro anymore than I'll watch Rush. Levin? He's always spot on.

Ben Shapiro sold out (the right) a long time ago. Ted Cruz once he warmed up to trump has consistently had his back.
You claim that Shapiro "sold out the right". How has he ever done so?
Shapiro, BTW, also warmed up to Trump.
Fuck you dude.
Levin, Rush, Bongino, DeSantis, Noel, Cruz...
Fuck you Dudette.
You left out Shapiro.
You are correct, and for that, I will fight for Ted.
Your obviously missing Shapiro ;-)
Not really. I just know that a friend of my son sent my son a link to a Shapiro video of a campus talk he gave. My son watched that one and the next, and the next, and the next.
He called me a couple days later and told me he "got it".

Trump sycophant..... fuck you too dude.
You fight for the person that fights for you.

Grow up.
Cruz ran to become president himself, not to make Hillary president.
But Shapiro telling people to not vote Trump in 2016 was a vote for Hillary
Exactly, even if you had doubts about Trumps conservative bona fidas in 2016 and doubted his sincerity, you still voted for him over killary.
We dodged that bullet, and as a reformed Catholic I know there are no better warriors for Christ than a born-again Christian.
Well, fuck them. They just found the light a few years ago when most of us have believed since we were children.
Are you going to toss a convert out of church, or embrace him?
Some of you, my fellow Pedes, seem to have adopted the Alyski play-book.
Divide and conquer, but from within our own ranks.
May God save us from ourselves.
It's because Luke Skywalker has faith in Ted's return to the light. "There is still Pede in him, I can feel it"

Cheers to that, Brother. I got my Crowder mug back in the Not-Gay Jared days.
When Shapiro or Trump say something I disagree with, I enjoy being able to respectfully disagree with them.
We're all on the same team here. If we didn't have an occasional disagreement, there would be something very, very wrong with us.
Ted and Don put the differences behind them.
And now that Shapiro supports Trump, what does he have to do to prove himself short of pledging fealty to his king? That would be a very cuck thing to do, btw.
He sits on the fence and swings whichever way is best for him!

Trump had a very privileged upbringing. How is that relevant outside the world of hypocrisy?
Shapiro was non stop parroting the media on Muh Russia, Ukraine, etc.
Levin and Rush called the bullshit out from day one.
That’s why we hate Shapiro.
Shapiro is a cuck....
A cuck? How so? Please share your great wisdom with the rest of the class.
Or you could simply delete the post and no-one would be the wiser.
