I saw a video a while ago of an interview with Soros talking about exactly this. He said he crippled countries as a hobby, starting small, seeing what works and what does not with an end goal of America. I wish I would have downloaded it because I cannot find it to save my life again. Pretty sure it was scrubbed pretty hard from the internet, but would absolutely love to find it again. It was disgusting watching him laughing about what he was doing.
