Had Red Robin refuse me service. Which was funny, since I started going there at least once a week the moment they reopened from the "SURGE!!!!!" that never happened. I think I had one person, once, say something and I told them I couldn't wear a mask. Everything was gucci for MONTHS until one day I tried to head in and got cock-blocked at the door by one of the managers. Which is hilarious as I had moments where i was standing around and chatting with one of the managers before without a blink of an eye from anyone. Fuck donkey show. Went to my car, called the corporate number and had them annihilate my Red Robin membership card. Told the guy on the phone what happened and he was very professional about it. Eventually he asked if it was ok if someone from the company could call me back. I said yes as long as they were to tell me they fixed the problem and it wasn't to tell me I was the one in the wrong, as that would just waste both of our time.

After they did it, I emailed Red Robin's corporate office and told them until they drop their mask mandate I would not darken their door again. I got a polite response that basically said they were keeping the masks. I have kept my word, though. I haven't spent one cent there since.
There are other restaurants that don't hassle me about masks, and they seem quite happy to take my money.

It's a simple personal favor.

The surgical masks people are using are made for during surgery that way you can limit the odds of contaminating an open incision site or your instruments. It is not made to protect the physician and is not meant to be used for longer then a 5 to 6 hour period. Reusing or using a mask longer then 6 hours takes any value away from the mask, and the value it DID have was not even for protecting you.
COVID is not lethal enough to require a mask unless you are someone who may consider themselves susceptible to more serious injury from that disease. Because of the crappy masks we have probably all had COVID. The number of people who have been tested are mostly those that showed symptoms, so how many of us did not show symptoms and had the disease. If you are someone who is at risk of serious injury by COVID, then either don't go out or use a respirator (that will actually protect you).

I would add that I dont believe that there are people who have covid who are asymptomatic. If you dont have symptoms, you don’t really have covid. They just ran your test through 40+ cycles so that a trace amount of last year’s cold got blown up into a positive test result and now your have to quarantine.
Well whats worse is that the testing basically has one of two options. You either make a test that is more specific and will catch all cases but will have a more false positives or a more sensitive test that will determine all negatives but have more false negatives.
The issue is with how rushed this test is they did not care about balancing these two and wanted to catch all positive cases, and this could be for an innocent reason or not, but as a consequence you by design have a test that will get you all of the positive patients, but will also report a large number of false positives. This is pretty well determined science and economics, but scientist do not think about political or societal ramifications of this decision to go with a more specific test and not try to balance it.

Yes, one was a guy I have known for 20+ years, also, another one is a friend at work. And in a normal year, there are between 40 and 80 thousand deaths related to the flu ...the "regular" flu virus. Are there any now? The flu has been cured by the CCP Coronavirus-19 apparently.

The masks are a farce for a multitude of reasons.
The surgical masks people are using are made for during surgery that way you can limit the odds of contaminating an open incision site or your instruments. It is not made to protect the physician and is not meant to be used for longer then a 5 to 6 hour period. Reusing or using a mask longer then 6 hours takes any value away from the mask, and the value it DID have was not even for protecting you.
COVID is not lethal enough to require a mask unless you are someone who may consider themselves susceptible to more serious injury from that disease. Because of the crappy masks we have probably all had COVID. The number of people who have been tested are mostly those that showed symptoms, so how many of us did not show symptoms and had the disease. If you are someone who is at risk of serious injury by COVID, then either don't go out or use a respirator (that will actually protect you).
This has been done for optics and control. They are trying to tell the non brainwashed people, look at how much power we have on your life now kneel before us. They have done this to kill your businesses and make you more dependent on massive corporations (who are in their back pocket) and to make you more dependent on government. This is done so they have an excuse to make government bigger and therefore the people smaller, until the government is all powerful and the people are cattle.

I would add that I dont believe that there are people who have covid who are asymptomatic. If you dont have symptoms, you don’t really have covid. They just ran your test through 40+ cycles so that a trace amount of last year’s cold got blown up into a positive test result and now your have to quarantine.
Well whats worse is that the testing basically has one of two options. You either make a test that is more specific and will catch all cases but will have a more false positives or a more sensitive test that will determine all negatives but have more false negatives.
The issue is with how rushed this test is they did not care about balancing these two and wanted to catch all positive cases, and this could be for an innocent reason or not, but as a consequence you by design have a test that will get you all of the positive patients, but will also report a large number of false positives. This is pretty well determined science and economics, but scientist do not think about political or societal ramifications of this decision to go with a more specific test and not try to balance it.
