I’ve been stuck with my sister (dual citizen) in Canada since this covid nonsense happened, so I haven’t been in the States.

Anyway, the healthcare system here is absolutely trash. I had to wait in the emergency room for 4-5 hours, till about ~3 AM - 4 AM.

All they did was give me Advil (which put me in double pain) didn’t know what was wrong with me and sent me home.

Then 2 days after they call me to tell me I have a UTI. Told me to pick up antibiotics, 5 days worth of antibiotics, they didn’t do anything at all.

Now, 3 months later- still have a UTI. Don’t even know if I may have cancer, MS or something. Sort of losing my mind and all hopes of recovery. I’m fatigued every day to where I don’t feel like I can make it through the day (extreme tiredness), my sides give me a painful pinch, now my lower back sides hurt and I feel like I’m gonna vomit. I have no idea what’s wrong with me, if it’s actually a UTI, or more than that.

Additionally, it took me an entire month to book a urine test - because all locations were booked out until mid-Dec, which is now.

My old family Canadian doctor didn’t want to see me cause Covid. So, he would treat me via over the phone. His antibiotics did better than the hospitals, but didn’t 100% clear it, second time didn’t do much either.

Now he’s finally decided that I can come physically see him.

I’m only 21. Just a reminder that Liberals are fucking stupid for wanting this so called “free health system” so much negligence and now I’m worried about losing a kidney or possibly dying to sepsis.
