If Trump doesn't fight--then he leaves the mess for 'the people' to deal with. That means short term chaos, a civil war of sorts. Then the U.S military steps in to restore calm. A Military 'administrator' is appointed to oversee the country until the next 'election'; which is what they all say at the outset. That 'administrator' then becomes the next self appointed 'President' or police State dictator. That's the pattern we've witnessed in South America and Egypt (i.e el-Sisi), Cambodia (Hun Sen), Indonesia (i.e Suharto) and Argentina (Pinochet). All ex Military guys.
Depending on whether that Military 'Administrator' is a Deep State puppet or not will determine how ruthless things will get. For years. They don't cede power and hold on via terror and bloodshed. We'd probably get a ruthless American version of Putin that's a globalist and NOT a nationalist.

No, I don't think there would be a military admin to act as President. Either Trump stays in office or Biden steals it. In the event that neither can take it, it goes to the speak of the house.
