Hahaha... holy shit, so true.

I remember reading it constantly when I was a little kid.

I think about a year ago I picked one up in a waiting room.

It felt like it had barely 25 pages in it, and was 100% super woke NPC material, and ads for AIDS drugs.

Time magazine started going to complete shit in the 2008. From cover to cover, it was pro-Obama propaganda. They didn't even hide it. I think his press secretaries were hired from Time and then retired to Time. By 2012, you barely even saw it in airport magazine racks anymore. No one I know has read an article from time in years... and I have a lot of liberal friends who read a ton. I am actually astonished people still care who the Time Person of the Year is. I mean, it is some Time editor (maybe their only editor left on payroll) throwing a dart at the wall.

Yeah I guess I sound corny... but for me it was like a 20+ year hiatus without reading one at all. My grandfather (opposite of woke) used to get the magazine, and give me 5 or 6 of them at a time when he saw me as a young kid.

I truly sound naive saying this... but I was seriously blown away beholding a current example of Time magazine! It's like I lost my innocence! Haha.

It's not even like it became more liberal; the magazine just exists in a totally different universe now, a realm of only the most radical left propaganda! Pure cult material. 100% editorial content. I almost thought it was a joke. I was literally smiling and laughing nervously when I read that current one. I was in a doctor's office waiting room. I think I said out loud under my breath, "Wait... so.... this is what Time Magazine is like now?"

I remember even telling my friends about it, "Yo have you looked at a Time Magazine lately?"

Maybe I sound so lame, like I'm heartbroken over the state of Time Magazine, when it really matters not. But it's yet another example of something we genuinely respected, which truly, truly went to shit!

Yep. I remember eagerly looking forward to & purchasing copies of their "year in pictures" every Christmas / New Years. I prob still have tons of those somewhere, from the 90's.....crazy.

It used to be about news, world events, and history, without any particular political angle at all. I'm sure you could extract something political from it, but pushing an agenda was not its purpose.

Now the magazine is 100% ultra-far left editorial opinion with virtually no meaningful acknowledgement of current affairs.

Yep. Although operation Mockingbird dates to what; the 50's? it seems the media wasn't quite so rabid back in the 90s...... sigh
