I don't want to gum up the works at such an important time, but I'd like to ask any pede who is so inclined to say a prayer for a young man who is succumbing to cancer this morning. He is leaving a wife and two very young sons. His name is Hugh.

Heavenly Father, please welcome Hugh into your eternal embrace so that he may feel no earthly pain. Please let his young children and his wife know your love and bless them with abundance in these trying times. In Jesus name, Amen.
Amen
Amen. We'll said
Amen
Amen.
Amen.
Keep a small notepad with you. Every memory you have of Hugh that comes to mind, write down. Give it to his children once you've had time to elaborate on your thoughts in a sturdy journal.
Give it to his wife for safe keeping for his children. If you are tight with more people who know High, pass the book to them and ask them to add to it.
Your memories will flesh out the man for the kids who didnt get to keep the gift of their father.
I love this idea as a widow who was left with 3 children.
You must be a very tough woman indeed
I have kids I can't imagine leaving them fatherless. Utterly terrifying
Thank you ,I am blessed they have grown up to be wonderful grown ups. Kind and they care for their old mom.
Done. Asked for your well being.
That is an amazing idea!
^ this THIS THIS!
I wish whoever is pealing onions would stop!

Father please ease their troubles we ask these things in the name of your son Jesus Christ amen.

Prayers for Hugh and his family.
Iβll keep him in my prayers. Shabbat Shalom.
What's a good Jewish prayer to say for someone else in this situation? I can't seem to find something that someone would say for someone else, everything seems to be for the ill or the dying to say.
Hugh, you will be hers forever. She will see the world through your spirit until you meet again. I promise. Your sons will live on and grow old in the best country in the world. They will always know your love and you theirs. God has a very special challenge for you and your family that you must embrace. If you feel that your life is full of love and good and it's almost unbearable to let slip away. Then, please I beg you, take comfort in the fact that this is the best way for humans to live in this world - full of love. We love you, Hugh. π€

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy.
Iβm struggling with my faith at the moment, but Hugh, I hope heβs there. I hope the Kingdom is tangible to us all, and I hope you cross lovingly.
So generous of you to share as you struggle. Prayers for you to, Fren.
May God strengthen and sustain your faith. May he bless you with a deeper understanding of his words and his ways. May he fill you with his peace. Amen.

If you read a book called Power of 8, it documents the scientific basis for intention based healing also referred to by Jesus as faith that heals.
Faith is imagining things hoped for as if they were now. So our prayers take place within us where the Kingdom of Heaven resides, as Jesus said we are in Him and He is in us.
So I picture Hugh recovering. Join me.
Many prayers for Hugh and the family he leaves behind ππ»π
