I have not seen combat, but I mostly agree with you. I would just say that the terror of war shouldn't paralyze people into forfeiting our God given rights. We aren't there yet, but I think reasonable people could draw a line to there from the path we're on. For now holding our representatives' feet to the fire, demonstrating and educating others is the reasonable action, but may come a time when stronger action is required.
