I think the legislatures picking the electors is the only hope we have.

Per the Constitution...

"The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately chuse by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chuse the President. But in chusing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the Representation from each State having one Vote;"

So, if the SCOTUS throws out the electors from the four states, Sleepy still has the majority.

We HAVE to get the electors from these states. That's why Rudy & Jenna are making the cases to the legislatures.

Biden would still need 270. The Constitution you quoted has been amended.

I thought as long as nobody has 270 it goes to the house, regardless of who has more?

270 isn't mentioned in the Constitution. The president is chosen by a majority of the electors. So, we need the electors from these states.

I'm not a lawyer, so take my interpretation with a grain of salt.

I've seen various interpretations and explanations for this... from my understanding, if a state's electors are voided, that amount lowers the total of the 583, which then affects the amount to win (which would be lower than 270). But whatever that goal is, 270 or lower, if no one reaches it, then it goes to the House. (Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can support or correct my understanding...)

Someone has to get to 270. Period. If no one is at 270, the House votes. From your own text quotes above "if such number be a majority of the whole number of electors appointed". It has to be 270 or above or the house votes. But.....

We don't have to worry about the four states legislatures at all! Monday the electoral college vote will be held in the House, because of course it will, Biden will win, and the left will strut and crow that it's all over.

Then SCOTUS will enter the chat, vote for Texas, and nullify the votes of those four states, leaving neither candidate with a majority.

January 6th, Pence will not count their votes, the SCOTUS decision gives him cover, and the House will vote on the spot. POTUS TRUMP.
