Misinformation. It's a knee jerk title using people's confirmation bias to upvote based on emotions. The only source I can find is from a left-wing journalist in Austin, by the name of Tony Plohetski, from this article that OP does not link to:

The article itself reads like your average New York Times piece. "Sources confirmed to KVUE the requests for information" then later contradicts itself with "but the FBI has not publicly confirmed an investigation." So it appears to be a click-bait hit piece.
