I think we're about to see how swampy our state governments are on another level... I'm a GA pede and it's already shocking as is.

This really means that we have to petition our state legislatures as much as possible.

I thought the state delegations had to vote the way their state voted, by law?

They don't as far as I'm aware. If that's a law, it's unconstitutional.

I counted them in a post or comment a while back. R's had a definite edge, but not so definite that we didn't have to worry about turncoats.

I put more faith in the house delegations. We might lose a couple to cuckoldry, but by and large they're going to understand which side their bread gets buttered on better than local reps.

National Treasure-type Redpill: That's not a problem, that's how our Founders wisely built the framework of our Republic. We are not a democracy.

Assuming they decide that, they will still be looking for calls and emails.

I have heard they must as well... does anyone know for sure, with a source?

People who make this claim are probably referring to a recent Supreme Court decision on faithless electors. The court found that if the legislatures send electors to vote for who won the popular vote the electors have to abide by that. It actually confirms that it's the legislatures that are in control. They nominate electors to vote the way they want, and the electors must vote that way in Congress.

Wait. You are ridiculing people for wanting sources to procedural claims in legal proceedings? Seriously?

fuck off to reddit, shill. The way you dont use arguments but manipulationtactics (insulting into submission, gaslighting, etc.) to gain dominance over others is WAY TOO OBVIOUS.
