If I lived in either of those states I would totally agree and support it in any way. The Dems want DC and Puerto Rico to become states. We can do that too, and strip electors and house seats away from the left. California has too much power when it comes to electors anyway.
I've heard some in Oregon have wanted to split as well. They should get on that.
There were five Northern California counties that tried to get a secession from Cali proposition on the ballot back in 2008 or 2012. Wonder if they have anything to do with this.
no really secession. More like division.

I live in New NV and I totally support this division!
We actually tried to separate CA into 3 states in 2018. It had the votes to go on the ballot and a corrupt judge had it removed.
Interesting. I have heard of Jefferson (north CA) trying; but hadn't heard about a 3 state split.
We need a New New York also. We in rational reasonable upstate NY are dominated by idiot commies in NYC, and I'm sick of it.

We got cheated by technicality. Almost had the state of Jefferson. And yes, we're behind this.
2018 as well
WE'RE THE TEXANS OF CALIFORNIA
My question too. I'm glad they filed still :)

What does it have to do with the election. Seems non sequitur
Probably, but they do make a good case of executive usurped authority from the legislature in their references to Newson’s reign of terror.
Bunch of clingers on trying to get a few seconds in the sunshine
bunch of waste of time is what it is.
get back to us when their AG or even elected officials support TX
