My mom used to be a lawyer and she said the same thing! If they don’t accept the case, will New California and New Nevada break off? Either way we get two new entities, right?
What the heck is New California and New Nevada?
Where the patriots live and want to separate from the leftist control of their states.
Normally it’s called the State of Jefferson. It’s where most of us mountain pedes reside. Some of the reddest parts of the nation in them hills.
Here's a legal question:
If SCOTUS accepts their claim, does this set a legal precedent for the existence of these two new states?
Legally, you cannot grant rights to an entity that does not exist, unless the court concedes/recognizes that it is, in fact, a legal entity.
Did the fed up citizens of California and Nevada pull a legal sneak?

Doing it through SCOTUS could potentially speed up the process, because of the legal nod from the highest court.
It would still be a lengthy process, involving Congress;
