Hi pedes, I am wondering how we can go about lobbying state legislators to enact an electoral college within a state. This could be based by county. Essentially bringing the federal elections down to the local level. What are the pros and cons of this? Obviously our current system is allowing cities to rule states and causing serious inequality (heh not joking) within the state. For instance, Salem and Portland rule most of Oregon. Seattle, Everett, Bellingham rule Washington. Denver, Colorado. How can we bring back the power to create equal representation between the cities and rural areas?
