If he came out and instantly said Fauci is deepstate scum and the vaccines will be dangerous, the average person would lose their shit. We saw through Fauci pretty quickly just by looking at his background, his donation history and listening to the garbage he spoke.
I think Trump must have been looking to give him enough rope to discredit himself but it's a very powerful and influential media he's up against
