That's not what I'm talking about. Keep daylight saving time permanently. Do not turn it back to darkness in the winter. We are on it for 8 months and for 4 months we fall back. No point. Just leave it on Daylight saving time.

I'm probably not understanding something. If you want an extra hour of light in the evening, you have to give up an hour of light in the morning. It'd be doable, but I'd prefer noon to be when the sun is directly overhead, that is to say normal time, for the whole year, rather than having DST at all (but that's just me).
