Do we know when we'll get more concrete info on the texas case in terms of the Supreme court actually hearing or setting a date for arguments or any injunctions against the electoral college vote proceeding? I thought something might happen today but nothing big yet that I see.
So, from a few posts, I gather their response will likely be at 10 am on Monday. I can’t confirm it, but Pedes generally have decent info, so that’s my concensus
More info... Wood’s lawsuit (which is basically the same thing Texas filed) against the GA SOS was filed on 11/13. https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/18632787/wood-v-raffensperger/ It was shot down by the lower courts for “lack of standing”. This is a big deal, if SCOTUS chooses to near this case and rules for Wood, it would say that yes, a voter has standing against officials who steal their vote.
Just one of the lawsuits that the media has been l laughingly calling a dismissed lawsuit. Ignoring the fact that the Supreme Court was the goal and that following normal court procedures is something law abiding citizens do. Democrats have trouble following rules or laws though.
That's just how long we'd have to wait for a response from Raffensperger to the petition for a writ of certiorari (to see if SCOTUS will hear the appeal at all). Then there's even more wait time after that. Unless this case is expedited or consolidated into the Texas case, it will come in too late.
Not to be a doomer- but this means the SCOTUS has received the paperwork and Lin Wood paid a filing fee. It doesn’t mean that they have decided to hear it.
Let's fuckkking goooo
Stacking em up
Round em up
Let's fuckkking wait apparently…
That’s telling for the Texas case though. They’re streamlining it...makes one think

THE TRUMP TRAIN HAS NO FUCKIN BRAKES
NO BRAKES!
There’s a bunch of peepees that SCOTUS needs to slap hard.
Wood is destroying democracy! R|EEEEEEEEEEEE¡!!
It's docketed, which is good, but we don't know if they'll hear it yet or not
Exactly.
No, docketed means that it is queued for them to hear it

DON'T BE OVERCONFIDENT PEOPLE.
Remember the fuckery that was Obamacare?
Be hopeful that Scotus will do right by us but don't for a second think it's a sure thing because it is not.
Chicom influence is everywhere.
Response due January 11, 2021 ?
At least it is before Jan 20th

I don't think that most people understand what Docketed means.
